favourites - FOTD

Hello!

I wanted to share some favourites of 2014 and I'll start with my face! :)

This is pretty much what I wear on my face on a daily basis....my FOTD which means face of the day (took me such a long time to figure out that one!). I don't like to wear lots of make up, hate wearing foundation, powder...pretty much never wear it.

Andalou SPF 30 serum (love) I MUST wear minimum of SPF 30 (hyperpigmentation) - Vitacost.

If I'm going to be running errands then I'll top Andalou with Nuxe's BB cream (it only has a SPF of 8?? That is the only bad thing I have to say about this BB cream...and the fact that it only has two shade of which I wear the lightest and if you're very fair skinned I think it will be too dark).

For under eye circles, around the ol' schonz I use RMS Beauty's Un Cover Up - Naturissimo.

I use Bourjois's Ultra Care mascara. I have sensitive eyes and this doesn't irritate them. I want to try Lavera's mascara once I'm done with this one.

I go back and for and sometimes blend Ilia's In My Room (love the colour, lasts on the lips but it takes a bit of work to get it on the lips) and Logona's Double Lip Pencil in 01. I LOVE the Logona Double Lip Pencil and want to get other shades - Love Lula.

When my cousin came to visit from Canada her brought me Tarte's blush in Exposed and it's pretty much all I've been wearing. 

Lush's Vanillary solid perfum is my FAVOURITE! 

All the Christmas 'stuff' is coming down. With all the deadlines I had and sick kids, hubby in the hospital Christmas slipped past me. I didn't even got the Christmas mass because I was home with Jakov (who was sick...and then the next day Mia got sick...then Marko...).

I'm saying goodbye to this Christmas tree. I bought it the first Christmas after my father passed away...so I was 21 (I'm 40 now). I lived in a one bedroom apartment and this tree looked HUGE in it! lol! It looks tiny in our home now.  It's been falling apart the last few Christmas's and looks a tad shabby...looking forward to buying a new tree...or maybe we'll go with real tree's.

Hello!

Just popping in to share some random stuff....like I just added 4 new 2x3 stamp sets to the shop. I designed these for Efco and are limited edition in my shop. Keep in mind that it's a 2x3 set...mini! :)

AND I extended the 20% off all clear stamps sale!

I'll share some easy Christmas tags I created today....not heat embossing to create these 'chalkboard' tags...just a white gel pen.

Klara's room

Hello!
I'm so excited today to have a guest on my blog. My best friend Suzi! Personally I think she should have a blog of her own. She's creative and brilliant at everything she does and I'm hoping she'll be making more appearances here!

Today I'm sharing her daughter Klara's room...if Klara sounds familiar to some of you it's because she's the one I named my stamp set Tooth Fairy Klara after her.

 The photo's don't do justice to how beautiful, bright and airy Klara's room is (blame the camera)...so here we go!

Check out this wall that Suzi drew and painted herself...love the movement of the blossoms and leaves.

This owl here might also be familiar to some of you....I made this owl and also offered the template I created which you can find here.

You can never have enough owls!

The two owl shaped pillows is a diy project Suzi did herself and she found the inspiration here. The two other pillows are from Kika.

Klara's bedroom set (bed, closet and dresser), pink flower light and rug are from Ikea as are some of the lighting too. Did I mention Ikea is now in Zagreb!! I still haven't gone...I can't wait to check it out!

These sweet birdies are another diy created by Suzi! I LOVE them! 

And you can ever have enough pillows! :)

This cozy armchair is from Emmezetta.

I could just curl up in that armchair with a good book!

friday favourites / wish list

Hello!

It's time for my Friday Favourites which doubles up as my wish list too!

First up is this sleek and simple water bottle I spotted over at Eco Diva Beauty (my wish list there is crazy!). I definitely need to drink way more water!!!

Planning, list making and doodling is a must for me to stay organized...my friend told me to use my phone for that and I just can't! I need a 'book' to write it down. Pick up a book! Put those ipads and gadgets down!! lol! I know...I live in a cave but you will never see me read a book on one of those tablets or whatever they are. I'm passionate about this people...leave me be in my cave drawing on paper with my pencils and markers and reading real books! :)

So this planner here is perfect! And who doesn't like whales!;)

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!!

I have to admit I didn't do much baking over the summer and with Fall here I find myself in the mood to do some baking! As usual I turned to Pinterest for ideas and recipes....here are a few that caught my eye!

Over the weekend my hubby tacked another piece of furniture and did a fantastic job...again! :) He did the same (and used the same brand paint) with this piece as the boys little cabinet.

Again sorry for the crummy photos! :(

We also bought new hardware and it made all the difference! I wasn't planning on buying new hardware but when we were in Bauhaus buying the paint I spotted these and so glad I did! :)

I'm totally bummed that summer's coming to an end...it literally flew by!! But every season has it's charm and beauty and I just love Fall colours, especially wearing them on my nails!

I don't think I'd ever get a tattoo...first of all there's needles, blood...pain involved! And the fact that I might get sick of it after a while! These Beauty Marks by Mr. Kate are perfect faux tattoos!
