buttons

Hi!
Just popping in to let you know that I added some more buttons to my Etsy shop...

I also did a little spray painting....I always forget to take the before pictures but this vase was a bronzy colour and I already have so much brown (I LOVE brown) in my home that I thought to try a nice green....I have to say I really like the way it turned out....the funny (and totally not on purpose) thing... my stools in my kitchen (the seat is leather) are the exact same green!!!

Have a great day!

baby shower favor

Hi!
I started this yesterday....I wanted to use up some scraps from the cards I made...

I printed out the elephant twice and with the second print cut out the ear and embossed it.

I love using clothes pins....I use to just use them they way they were (wooden) or spray paint them in other colours....but when I saw what Michelle does....I just LOVE the idea of covering them with yummy pattern paper...and what I way to use up scraps!!

Isn't this cute....I love these paper bags and if you ask me..I'd fill them up with peanut M&M's!!!!!!!

It's rainy here in Zagreb and it's making me wanna sleep!!!
Thanks for popping by!

materials - DHD digi kits (Baby Mine, OH BOY! Party Time Extras), Nestabilities circle die, scallop circle punch, pop dots, Cuttlebug embossing folder, wooden clothes pin, paper bag, cardstock.

a little birdie told me......

Hi!!
If a little birdie told you that I was asked to be a DHD Decorator....

YAY!! How THRILLED am I to get to play with all these BRILLIANT kits over at Design House Digital!!!

Here's a card I made using the Baby Mine kit (which during the month of April all proceeds go to help a couple with their first adoption!) and OH BOY! Party Time Extras kit.

I printed out the birdie twice....added some glitter, glossy accents...distressed the edge. I also drew the cloud and cut it out and outlined it with glitter.

The sentiment is computer generated.

I'm also adding some new buttons to my Etsy store today.........these yummy metallic gold...

..and these yummy metallic ruby red buttons (to me it looks more like a pinky-red).

I will be also adding some yummy buttons in shades of purple...just gotta put the finishing glossy varnish on them.

Thanks for popping by and have a great day!!

baby cards.....and a helping hand

Hi!
I have two baby cards to share today and I used this YUMMY digi kit 'Baby Mine' by Carina Gardner. Not only do you get some major GOODNESS in this kit like this ADORABLE elephant that I just had glitter up!!

I distressed the whole card.

During the month of April all the proceeds of the 'Baby Mine' kit will go to a couple adopting for the first time. You get this FAB kit and you help someone out at the same time.........win-win situation!!!

And I had too much fun with this giraffe...I just had to glitter up his spots!!!

The stars pattern paper is from this kit.

And the tiny brown polka dots pp is from this kit.

I distressed this card too and I won't be doing much distressing for a while....I'm all inked out! :(
Gotta order me some more!!

Have a great day and thanks for popping by! ;)

materials - digi kits (DHD), string, nestabilities dies, PTI duo distress ink, glitter, cardstock

baby boy

Hi!!
I made this baby circle card for the SRM Stickers Challenge and for Caardvarks Challenge and since there's a lot of paper piecing action it's good for the Moxie Fab Challenge too! Noah's Ark is one of my favourites!!! And this is exactly the 'kind' of card I had in mind while I was drawing it..

A circle card....symbolizing the earth...the yellow scallop circle..the sun...and these cute animals waiting for new beginnings!!

One thing I know is...I NEED, WANT....HAVE TO HAVE more COPICS!!! ;)
I distressed the whole card and added some glitter here and there and some glossy accents too.

Well....thanks for popping by. BTW Suzi LOVES her card and my little tribute to our friendship! ;)

materials - digi stamp (Noah's Ark), sentiment (SRM sticker), cardstock, glitter, glossy accents, copics, ink (PTI distressing inks), pop dots, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Nestabilities (circle and scallop circle dies), digi pp (Michelle Underwood)

for Suzi

Happy Birthday Suzi!!

I have many prayers and wishes for you on your birthday....

...one of them is a wish that we continue to grow old and happy together as best friends....that we spend our afternoons sitting on a bench in the park....me with pinkish grey hair...you with your silvery blue hair....our pearls around our necks and our little handbags on our laps....you munching on a snack and me wishing I hadn't forgotten my teeth in my cup on the night stand.....remembering the days our boobs....well... looked like boobs...and talking about our many, many.......many grandchildren....

If friends were flowers.....I'd DEFINITELY pick YOU!
...God bless you Suzi!!

This cute princess stamp is from My Cute Stamps 'Royal Celebrations' and I stamped her twice...one white cardstock and on PTI's pp (the polka dots) to make her dress. I also stamped the flowers that are from this set twice...cut out the flowers after I coloured them and attached them with a pop dot.
