kindness

Hello!

I've been working on some stuff for Jennifer's share handmade kindess challenge and will share that soon. This is often how I work......next to one of my kids while doing homework. I can't divide Jane's Doodles and mom duties, it's all intertwined. I work from my desk which is in the living room (distractions ALL THE TIME). It's a blessing to work from home because I can be here for my kids but at the same time for obvious reasons it can be very stressful.

This photo was taken this morning. That would be my sweet Jakov's hand doing homework and me glueing sequins onto my card! :)

I can't wait for my next release next week!

And on a totally different note, I bought one of Lavera's Soft Lipliner in Rose which is the perfect 'nude' shade for my 'my lips but better' lipsticks. For a lip pencil it isn't too dry. I bought mine at Muller.

I am happy to say that I do share handmade kindness. Just this morning I received this email from a super friendly lady from France. I sent her a card and some yummy chocolates!

Hello Jane!

Oh this is so cute, you are so nice :)

I laughed when receiving your parcel! I love the concept of the card with the chocolates!

I know what will accompany my tea this morning !

I'd like to eat the card too, it looks yumi!! :)

Thank you again! You are really kind too :)

Have a nice day!

stretch your stamps

Hi!

I'm sharing a cute tag I made using my Smile, Winter Wishes and Stripes and Dots stamp sets.

I coloured the frog with my Graph'it markers and added some white glitter to the hat.

I did some tricky masking to add the hat to the frog and there's no way I can word it to make sense. I should have taken pictures. Maybe I'll make a video showing how I do it.

flannel love

I've been diggin' me some flannel lately! Can you believe that I don't own a flannel shirt! Shocking...I know! BUT I do have a super big and soft flannel scarf I bought at Accessorize last year.

All this flannel love inpsired a Christmas card this morning! And I have to say I really love how it turned out!

For my card I used my Stripes and Dots and Warm Wishes stamp sets. To stamp the stripes I used Tim Holtz inks in Barn Door, Peeled Paint and Broken China. I wasn't too worried with being exact especially considering that my Stripes and Dots stamps are hand drawn.
