stretch your stamps

Hi!

I'm sharing a cute tag I made using my Smile, Winter Wishes and Stripes and Dots stamp sets.

I coloured the frog with my Graph'it markers and added some white glitter to the hat.

I did some tricky masking to add the hat to the frog and there's no way I can word it to make sense. I should have taken pictures. Maybe I'll make a video showing how I do it.

you're my cup of tea

Hello!

I created a little project for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop over at SRM.

Not exactly coffee...but tea. :)

I used one of SRM's kraft pillow boxes (perfect size for some tea bags. This Yogi Ginger Lemon tea is my neighbour's favourite (and mine). I thought my neighbour would like this little surprise (and she did!).

I used my Stripes and Dots stamp set to stamp the pillow box using clear embossing ink to give it a tone on tone look. And on my tag I used my TEA-rrific stamp set. I used my Graph'it markers to draw my little roses (which I totally got the idea from this adorable card).

love you

Hello!

Popping in to share this card I made using my Hello Friend and Nuts About You (for the sentiment) stamp sets.

To make the tiny hearts on my background I first coloured my background with my favourite colour (for backgrounds - Graph'it 7101) and then with the colourless blender marker (Graph'it 0000) I made my hearts...easy! ;)

Yesterday I shared this photo (below) on instagram. I really love these pigment inks by Stamperia.

I used the red in to stamp my stripes (from my Stripes and Dots stamp set) and as you can see the colour is very pigmented.

mini stamps and crochet v stitch

Hello!

Hope all is well!

We got snow here in Zagreb! I shared more pics on my Instagram. Today is such a beautiful day...just look at that sky! :)

Today I'm sharing this tag I created using my Mini Spring stamp set (I designed for Efco). It's a 2x3 stamp set. I've mentioned before that I prefer bigger images when stamping but I have to admit that this set is perfect for tags (or mini cards). It's a limited edition BUT there will be a similar 4x6 set coming to the shop soon! :)

The sentiment is from my Doodle Flowers stamp set.

I used my Graph'it markers to colour the flowers.

I started a baby blanket (there are a couple of family members who are expecting!!) and because these babies will be born in the spring/summer I chose a cotton mix yarn and the V-stitch to keep it light and airy. You can check out this video if you're interested in trying this stitch...it's very easy! :)

Pop by the JD blog and check out Ange's FABULOUS card using my Stripes and Dots stamp set!

Have a lovely day!

december

Hello!

I'm getting together with some of my crafty friends soon and to get some ideas on some Christmas projects we can can do I turned to Pinterest and found this pin which has all my favourite Christmas elements - red and white colour combo and chalkboard art.

I love this red and white stripe pattern...reminds me of candy canes!!

I used my Stripes and Dots stamp set to create my stripe pattern and my Warm Wishes (which is on sale....50% off people!!) to create my chalk board image. I heat embossed the snowman with white embossing powder and distressed with some white ink.

I added a SRM sticker (December).

Have a great day!

faux shaker card

Hello!
Hope all is well!

Fever has found it's newest victim in my home...Marko (my oldest) now is sick...I'm just exhausted!

Anyways I wanted to share this gift tag I created...my intention was to make a shaker tag but I didn't like how the foam adhesive was showing so I decided to make a faux shaker tag! :)

I basically did everything I would making a shaker card/tag only I didn't add the foam so the sequins can't really move...it does just a bit! :)

I used my Warm Wishes and Mr. and Mrs. Claus stamp sets and coloured with my Graph'it markers.

Have a great day!

little giveaway

Hello!

This is my second post for today....I had to wrap up a gift real quick and thought the end result was cute enough to share. :)

I have lots of these paper bags at home and use them for packing snacks, lunches and wrapping up gifts....and the fact that they're cheap doesn't hurt!

For this one I already had this crocheted heart on hand so I stamped dots all over the paper bag using my Geometric Patterns stamp set.

I then stamped the tag from my Life is Good stamp set and stamped the sentiment from my TEArrific (Croatian) stamp set.

I want to give away 10 crocheted heart tags so if you're interested than just leave a comment! :) I'll announce the winner on Friday!

diy paper leaves + free leaf template

Hello!
I have been running errands all day....literally left the house 6 times!!!!!!!! Finally sat down to finish this post! :) It's feeling like Fall here...little sad that summer is ending but I do LOVE Fall! :) So I drew up a template of some leaves...what I ususally do is print out the template onto thicker cardstock, cut the leaves out and then keep them in one of those clear plastic cd pockets so when ever I need it I just pull them out, trace onto cardstock or pattern paper, cut and voila...pretty leaves! I'm pretty sure most of you could draw your own leaves but for the few who can't I've got a template for ya! :)

I traced the leaves onto pattern paper, cut them out and distressed them with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tea Dye (one of my favourites for distressing!)...I scored down the center and gently folded... (I used one of my small crochet hooks to score the leaves). For the sentiment on the tag I used our Blessings Sentiments stamp set and I stamped the polkadots from our Doodle Flowers stamp set onto the kraft paper bag.

Here's the template...just right click and save! :)

Have a great day! xo

thanks

Hi!
I'm feeling a bit better today thanks! :)

I've got two more rejects! :)
I made this card using my Winnie the Witch digital stamp and Big Sentiments and Autumn Blessings stamp sets. I did some masking with the pumpkin stamps. I coloured Winnie using Graph'it Markers (which by the way you can order here at Polka Doodles). For my crafty Croatians you can these markers at NB Hobby & Art.

For this tag I heat embossed with white ink and did a little colouring with my Derwent pencil crayons. I used my Autumn Blessings and Big Sentiments for this project.

That's all folks!

eye candy

Hello!

I want to thank all who hopped along our stamp release blog hop....the DT and Guest Designer did an amazing job...I just LOVE LOVE all the projects created with our new stamps Sweet Heart, Dino-mite, Food On The Go and Doodle Bloom!!

I love Pinterest....I find so much inspiration there and it was this card by Amber (Damask Love) that inspired this tag I created using our new Sweet Heart stamp set.

I love making my own background paper....I created these 'cards' using Sweet Heart and Dino-mite stamp sets and versamark ink (I love the tone on tone look).

Have a great weekend!!
