Jane's Doodles in the UK

Hello! 

Hope all is well!!

We finally got snow here in Zagreb....LOVE! A pain to travel in but nonetheless I LOVE! :)

Last Saturday my kids went to a birthday party so I made this fun card using my Mr. Smiles digital stamp and the sentiment is from my Croatian Sentiments stamp set (available at NB Hobby & Art). For the background I used our Jungle Baby stamp set....those dots and circles are too fun! :)

I printed the monster onto green cardstock and then with a green Graph'it marker coloured the horns and feet...you really can't colour on cardstock (blending and all that) but to add a darker tone it's great. I also added some green glitter to the horns and coloured in the teeth and parts of the eyes with my white gel pen.

I got a little something for the birthday boys sister too...

I also got great news for all those living in the UK and would love to get their hands on some Jane's Doodles stamps!! JD stamps are now available at Craft Mojo! :)

I'm feeling better...still not 100% but much better! I've been working on lots of Christmas projects....all the Christmas cards I make I donate to raise money for those in need so no one ever gets cards from me! LOL I don't think they mind knowing 'their' card is helping someone in need! :)

Hello!

I want to thank all who hopped along our stamp release blog hop....the DT and Guest Designer did an amazing job...I just LOVE LOVE all the projects created with our new stamps Sweet Heart, Dino-mite, Food On The Go and Doodle Bloom!!

I love Pinterest....I find so much inspiration there and it was this card by Amber (Damask Love) that inspired this tag I created using our new Sweet Heart stamp set.

I love making my own background paper....I created these 'cards' using Sweet Heart and Dino-mite stamp sets and versamark ink (I love the tone on tone look).

free donut digi

Hi!!

So it was about time I offered a free digital stamp and I was inspired by the mini donuts I made! So here's a card I created using the free donut digi...I coloured it with Graph'it markers...added some glossy accents to the frosting and a bit of brown glitter. The sentiment is from one of our new stamp sets! :)

Here's a photo of the mini donuts I baked...so so easy and my whole family LOVES them!!

Recipe:

11/3 cup flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 egg

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 cup milk

3 Tbls vegetable oil

2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 180/350

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a small bowl (I never sift).  In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg and sugar.  Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Add the flour mixture, and mix until there are no lumps.  Fill each donut indentation about 3/4 of the way full.  Bake for 7-9 minute (an inserted toothpick will come out clean).  Remove donuts from the pan, and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.

For the chocolate glaze I just melt some chocolate and a bit of butter to make it smooth...there are different ways to prepare chocolate glaze but I find the way I make it is fine.

Poppin in to share some randomness...like these juicy grapes I like to steal from my neighbours!! :) (no worries...they know I'm the grape theif!). They are as juicy as they look!

My sunflowers...

I've teamed up with some nuns to raise money for the poor and one way to do that is the crafty way....this past sunday I made treat bags with these tags attached (and a beautiful prayer by Mother Teresa) and I'm happy to say all was sold!

Hello!

What's your creative process when making cards....for me most of the time I like to colour my 'image' and that's where my inspiration for the card comes from...for example I think with this penguin I want to use kraft cardstock because of the brown hat and scarf and then one thing leads to another....to be honest I really never have a plan but I do almost start off by colouring my stamped image. :)

Jane's Doodles is celebrating World Card Making Day, we're going to randomly choose two winners to pick a Jane's Doodles stamp set of their choice!!

Of coarse I have a card to share.....I printed the little cute angel out, coloured and cut out. The stamps are from our Fly High! stamp set and the sentiment is a SRM sticker. I also created my background (snowflakes) with our It's the Season stamp set.

To colour my angel I used Graph'it markers which I'm LOVING!!! They are twin tip alcohol based markers and they are a French brand). The colours I used are - 0000, 7105, 9500, 4115, 3270, 3245, 4135, 4145, 4155, 4150)

Meet Oggy!

Hi!

Long time no see!!!! I just had to take some time off....I had a yucky cold and now my youngest has got it! I'm so behind on everything but I'm trying not to let that stress me out.

So here's Oggy (my neighbours dog inspired this drawing and so I named it after him).....my newest digital stamp freebie for ya'll! :)

I used our It's a Guy Thing stamp set to create my backgroun, coloured Oggy with markers (copic, le plume and Graph'it)....I also created the sentiment in Word.

Suzi is another hand drawn set by me....there's a bit of a story to this.....I LOVE Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang.....to this day!! Peppermint Patty....oh that was so me! LOL So Suzi is inspired by the Peanuts gang and I named her Suzi...after one of my real life best friends! :)

I have to mention that I just received my stamps yesterday....so I had to make hybrid cards because I didn't want to postpone the blog hop anymore.....

Here's a tag I created using Winnie! :)

I used copics and Graph it markers to colour her. And a SRM sticker.

Ok....I think this is the most bling I've ever used on a single projects!!!!!!! I coloured the roses with Graph it markers, used the chevron pattern from our Patterns for Him stamp set to create my background. And another SRM sticker! :)

I think I'm going to send this card to my Mama! :) She loves flowers!

And last but not least Suzi! :)

She looks like my BF...the hair and the HUGE smile....Suzi's got one of the most biggest, beautiful smiles! And she's got a heart of gold....I'm a lucky gal to have her as my friend!

I stamped the butterfly from Mariana's Fly High set on the blue paper to create my background...I used versamark ink to creat a tone on tone look.
