Popping in to share some pins, goodies, etc. 

First up is this wedding card I had to make like in 5 mintues....love how it turned out and it's all because of the GORGEOUS gold, glittery paper I found!!! It's thick and gorgeous! LOVE! :)

My daughter Mia went to a birthday party today (her best friend's sister and they're our neighbour too) so I popped into Benetton to buy her present and while I was waiting to pay I noticed these GORGEOUS notebooks....these three caught my eye but really all of them have awesome designs.

Happy Birthday Mama + recipe

Hope all is well! :)

Today is my Mama's birthday and I made this card for her.....she LOVES flowers and the colour yellow! I've been blessed with the best Mama and only wish we could be together on this day. I haven't seen her in over 2 years! :(

I found my inspiration for this card on pinterest here! I used my Daffodils and Croatian Sentiments stamp sets. I coloured the daffodils with my Graph'it markers. I used some of my washi tape and stamped the sentiment (which means happy birthday for those of you who do not know Croatian :) ) onto vellum.

I'm not sure if  I shared this recipe here on the blog yet but it's a favourite with everyone and it's so easy to make and you can make it ahead of time because it's freezer friendly (I always have these in the freezer!) I found the recipe here. The only thing I do differently is I use puff pastry.

Well...that's it...I've got a busy weekend...my daughter and husband both have their birthdays and we're celebrating all weekend...wish me luck...I haven't even started yet!!!

Jane's Doodles in the UK

Hello! 

Hope all is well!!

We finally got snow here in Zagreb....LOVE! A pain to travel in but nonetheless I LOVE! :)

Last Saturday my kids went to a birthday party so I made this fun card using my Mr. Smiles digital stamp and the sentiment is from my Croatian Sentiments stamp set (available at NB Hobby & Art). For the background I used our Jungle Baby stamp set....those dots and circles are too fun! :)

I printed the monster onto green cardstock and then with a green Graph'it marker coloured the horns and feet...you really can't colour on cardstock (blending and all that) but to add a darker tone it's great. I also added some green glitter to the horns and coloured in the teeth and parts of the eyes with my white gel pen.

I got a little something for the birthday boys sister too...

I also got great news for all those living in the UK and would love to get their hands on some Jane's Doodles stamps!! JD stamps are now available at Craft Mojo! :)

black is the new black

Hello! How you doin?!! (I totally did that in my Joey voice!!)

I never really used black in my cards except for Halloween and probably wouldn't have started if it weren't for this chalkboard art obsession of mine!!

For this card I used Geometric Patterns and Croatian Sentiments. I also used some gorgeous pattern paper (which I tend to hoard!!!) The polka dots on the butterfly is from my very first JD stamp set which is not available now but I think I'm going to add these polka dots to a new sets...I LOVE polka dots!! you need them in all sizes! :)

Hope all is well! A few days ago I emailed Judith to touch base and to whine about how I was in the garden and threw my back out only to find out that she's been off her feet due to her back as well!! LOL My back is feeling better...but it's a pain I live with pretty much everyday...anyways...I wanted to share this card I created using Life is Good, Croatian Sentiments and Patterns for Him stamp sets.

...yes I'm obsessed with make chalkboard art cards...gotta get it out of my system! :) I also used some gorgeous pattern paper that I've been hoarding...I have a real problem using my pattern paper...I think it's because it's not something I can buy easily in Croatia...I'm really not a hoarder. Again I traced the stamped sentiment with my white gel pen...not perfect but until I buy a new heat gun it'll work.

wedding card

I've said before and I'll say it again...I love Pinterest..it gives me so many ideas and inspiration like this card by Iwona. I just love her cards! :) I have to make a couple of wedding cards and thought this would make such a lovely one.

My heat gun doesn't work...have to buy a new one so I used my white gel pen and traced over the stamped sentiments...not perfect but I still like it. For this card I used Croatian Sentiments, Geometric Patterns, I Got This and Special Day.

Hope you all are having a lovely day! To all my fellow Croatian...a very Happy Independence Day!

This card was inspired by Alice's card using my Suzi stamp set...her colouring is just brilliant! For my card I used Double Trouble, Geometric Patterns and Croatian Sentiments. I used Graph'it markers to colour and I did some masking too.

I added a gem and one of my handmade buttons. I also stamped diamonds and polka dots onto cardstock and cut them out to create banners.
