Fairy Klara and Graph'it

Hello!

We're going to our best friends house to celebrate her daughter's 4th birthday. Her name is Klara and yes she's the inspiration behind my Fairy Klara stamp set! :)

Lately I've been LOVING my Graph'it markers (a French brand) and at the beginning it did take me some getting use to (the small nib is a little different from Copics) but it didn't take long for me to get the hang of it so I'd thought I share how I colour. I want to stress that I'm NOT a professional, certified anything marker related...this is just how I colour! :)

I stamped Fairy Klara onto cardstock and let it dry.

For her skin I used two colours and I always start with the lighter shade and then add my darker shade and then go back with the lighter shade and blend. The more shades you have the easier it is to blend.

I forgot to add the 'blush' so I went back and did that which brings me to a tip...work in small areas because once the colours 'dry' it is difficult to go back and blend some more...that's exactly what happened to me with the blush (on her cheeks).

Moving on to her hair...starting with the lightest shade...

...and now I'm adding my medium and darkest shade. And then I go back with the lightest and blend.

I use the blender to lighten any areas and I also used it on her skirt to create polka dots.

I cut her out, stamped the wings onto the yellow gingham paper, cut that out and paper pieced her together. The sentiment is a SRM sticker.

I think Klara will like her birthday tag! :)

NB Hobby projects

Hello!

This is what I woke up to! :)

And it's STILL snowing! Because of all this snow I was unable to go to NB Hobby today so I'll at least share some of the projects I created here on the blog.

This first card pretty much is what Zagreb looks like right now! :) I used my Home Sweet Home stamp set.

For the second card I used my you're a Hoot! stamp set.

Christmas tree advent calendar

Hope you all are doing well....I had my workshop yesterday at NB Hobby & Art (a local hobby store in Zagreb where you can find Jane's Doodles stamps! )

I had a great time although I'm not very good speaking infront of a crowd...I'm very shy....on to the project I created for the workshop....I created an advent calendar and I decided to created little embellishments with lots of layers and details. I used the following stamp sets: It's the Season, Patterns for Him, Holiday Patterns and Doodle Flowers...all background stamps except for the single star stamp from It's the Season that I used to stamp on the little gift box embellishent (#4, 14 and 21).

The candy cane I made using fimo and glitter....I had a few kids give them a lick (and realize they weren't real)! :) For most of the numbers I used SRM stickers the rest are die cuts.

I had to take the photo outside...we're having gloomy weather lately....so miss the sun!

I've added a few stamp sets in my Etsy shop so perhaps if you're in Croatia or close by take a peek! :)

I added glitter and bling! :) Also cut strips of red, yellow and orange cardstock and curled them to make my flames...

NB Hobby & Art workshop

Let it Snow!

Happy Monday to ya'll!

I want to share this Christmas card (which I will be entering into the Moxie Fab World: WCMD week: Make a Christmas card) I created using our Vintage Christmas, It's the Season and Patterns for Him stamp sets.

I did a little masking...I cut out an oval shape out of thin paper (with my Spellbinders oval), adhered it to my card and stamped the chevron pattern (from our Patterns for Him) over it (and removed the oval paper). I stamped the snowman (from our Vintage Christmas stamp set) onto my card and on seperate cardstock which I then coloured, cut out and adhered on top of the stamped snowman. I coloured the snowman with Graph'it markers (0000, 8240, 8280, 3245, 2160, 5220, 4150). The sentiment is from our It's the Season stamp set.

Jane's Doodles is celebrating World Card Making Day, we're going to randomly choose two winners to pick a Jane's Doodles stamp set of their choice!!

Of coarse I have a card to share.....I printed the little cute angel out, coloured and cut out. The stamps are from our Fly High! stamp set and the sentiment is a SRM sticker. I also created my background (snowflakes) with our It's the Season stamp set.

To colour my angel I used Graph'it markers which I'm LOVING!!! They are twin tip alcohol based markers and they are a French brand). The colours I used are - 0000, 7105, 9500, 4115, 3270, 3245, 4135, 4145, 4155, 4150)

Meet Oggy!

Hi!

Long time no see!!!! I just had to take some time off....I had a yucky cold and now my youngest has got it! I'm so behind on everything but I'm trying not to let that stress me out.

So here's Oggy (my neighbours dog inspired this drawing and so I named it after him).....my newest digital stamp freebie for ya'll! :)

I used our It's a Guy Thing stamp set to create my backgroun, coloured Oggy with markers (copic, le plume and Graph'it)....I also created the sentiment in Word.

Here's a quick card I created to share today....the sentiment is from our new Fly High! stamp set designed by Mariana! :) The flower.......... :) .....

I used Graph'it markers to colour the flower....which is a French brand. I plan to do a review and comparison (to Copics) in the near future. I LOVE these markers! :)
