diy paper leaves + free leaf template

I have been running errands all day....literally left the house 6 times!!!!!!!! Finally sat down to finish this post! :) It's feeling like Fall here...little sad that summer is ending but I do LOVE Fall! :) So I drew up a template of some leaves...what I ususally do is print out the template onto thicker cardstock, cut the leaves out and then keep them in one of those clear plastic cd pockets so when ever I need it I just pull them out, trace onto cardstock or pattern paper, cut and voila...pretty leaves! I'm pretty sure most of you could draw your own leaves but for the few who can't I've got a template for ya! :)

I traced the leaves onto pattern paper, cut them out and distressed them with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tea Dye (one of my favourites for distressing!)...I scored down the center and gently folded... (I used one of my small crochet hooks to score the leaves). For the sentiment on the tag I used our Blessings Sentiments stamp set and I stamped the polkadots from our Doodle Flowers stamp set onto the kraft paper bag.

Mini Jane's Doodles stamp release blog hop

Welcome to our mini Jane's Doodles stamp release!! We've added 2 new stamp sets to our shop! I've been super super busy this summer (those who follow my blog know we always have lots of family visiting from Canada...plus we had 3 weddings)...anyways we're releasing two sets!! I created my first card using our Double Trouble (designed by me) and the sentiment is from our Blessings Sentiments (designed by the talented Angeline).

I used Double Trouble for this card...and the cat is from our Suzi stamp set! I used my Graph'it markers and I drew the little arrow.

For my last card I thought it would be cute to do the animals all hanging out together....the cat from the stamp set Suzi is perfect for pairing up with the dog and parrot....this parrot is one of my favourites! LOL...so cute! :) The polka dots on the kraft is from our Doodle Flowers stamp set.
