merry and bright gift wrapping

This morning I'm wrapping up some chocolates for teachers (tomorrow's the last day of school! Yoohoo!!). I used my Stripes and Dots stamp set and stamped dots on the wrapping paper. I heat embossed the sentiment from Warm Wishes. I have the worst white embossing powder...I bought it here in Zagreb (never heard of the brand) but it's so coarse (the powder)!

friday favourites - christmas edition

Hello!

I am especially excited about this Friday favourites because it's all about Christmas gift wrapping! I LOVE me some good gift wrapping and pinterest is full of amazing ideas!
The only problem I have is whether I should go bright or rustic or totally white...ya know! :)

Washi tape! Need I say more! Ahhh the possibilities!

How sweet is the little wreath. Love this natural look.

Black, white and gold! Hello!

Burlap and a gorgeous tag! What more do you need!

I LOVE these printable tags....'Merry Christmas your filthy animal!'

A gold glittery deer!!! YES please!

Cute and colourful!

I love the idea of using photo's to personalize the gift wrapping.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea of taking plain solid colour wrapping paper and writing on it, adding doodles...so fun!

I hope to share my own Christmas gift wrapping idea next week so I hope you pop in and visit with me for a bit!

for you

Hello!

Sharing a quick gift tag I created using my Warm Wishes and Stripes and Dots stamp sets.
I coloured with my Graph'it markers and I used a cute SRM embossed kraft gift bag.

And here's a little sneak peek! #janesdoodles

you're my cup of tea

Hello!

I created a little project for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop over at SRM.

Not exactly coffee...but tea. :)

I used one of SRM's kraft pillow boxes (perfect size for some tea bags. This Yogi Ginger Lemon tea is my neighbour's favourite (and mine). I thought my neighbour would like this little surprise (and she did!).

I used my Stripes and Dots stamp set to stamp the pillow box using clear embossing ink to give it a tone on tone look. And on my tag I used my TEA-rrific stamp set. I used my Graph'it markers to draw my little roses (which I totally got the idea from this adorable card).

friday favourites

Hello!

First off thank you for all the birthday wishes! :) I'm having a giveaway and will pick the winner on Monday. There's also a giveaway on the JD blog.

On to my Friday favourites. It doesn't feel like Christmas here in Zagreb....it's just too warm! :(  They predict NO snow this month.  I think I'm going to have to buy some of those snowflakes you can adhere to your windows to make me feel better.

This is a super cute and easy idea that I will be doing!

I love berry wreaths!

I love this scarf (and the sweater, nails...). There's a similar scarf that I saw in Accessorize and I heard that everything's 50% off!!! I'll be popping over there tonight to check it out.

Perfect!

thanks

Hello!

Hope all is well!

I wanted to thank someone...just a little something and came up with the idea of giving her a face mask and the perfect way (for me) to wrap it up is in a paper bag....a cute stamp, crochet heart tag and a little washi tape.

Stamps could come in handy for gift wrapping and I decided to stamp the paper bag with the sweet sleeping fox from my Hello Friend stamp set.

I really didn't need to add the crochet heart...it would have looked just as cute with only the wash tape but I have a lot of crochet hearts lying around so why not. :)

I'm also send this sweet trio to someone who's expecting. I crocheted two wash clothes to go along this ADORABLE drooly bib which is handmade by the talented Zrinka of Owls and Co. Her sewing skills are amazing! Pop by her Etsy shop...I have my eye on one of her handmade dolls for Mia!

Hope you all have a lovely day!

little giveaway

Hello!

This is my second post for today....I had to wrap up a gift real quick and thought the end result was cute enough to share. :)

I have lots of these paper bags at home and use them for packing snacks, lunches and wrapping up gifts....and the fact that they're cheap doesn't hurt!

For this one I already had this crocheted heart on hand so I stamped dots all over the paper bag using my Geometric Patterns stamp set.

I then stamped the tag from my Life is Good stamp set and stamped the sentiment from my TEArrific (Croatian) stamp set.

I want to give away 10 crocheted heart tags so if you're interested than just leave a comment! :) I'll announce the winner on Friday!
