Happy Birthday Mama + recipe

Hello!

Hope all is well! :)

Today is my Mama's birthday and I made this card for her.....she LOVES flowers and the colour yellow! I've been blessed with the best Mama and only wish we could be together on this day. I haven't seen her in over 2 years! :(

I found my inspiration for this card on pinterest here! I used my Daffodils and Croatian Sentiments stamp sets. I coloured the daffodils with my Graph'it markers. I used some of my washi tape and stamped the sentiment (which means happy birthday for those of you who do not know Croatian :) ) onto vellum.

I'm not sure if  I shared this recipe here on the blog yet but it's a favourite with everyone and it's so easy to make and you can make it ahead of time because it's freezer friendly (I always have these in the freezer!) I found the recipe here. The only thing I do differently is I use puff pastry.

Well...that's it...I've got a busy weekend...my daughter and husband both have their birthdays and we're celebrating all weekend...wish me luck...I haven't even started yet!!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Popping in to share a card I created using my Tooth Fairy Klara stamp set. I coloured her in with my Graph'it markers and then cut her out (I attached her with foam dots...like she's just floating around!).

A while back I drew a bunch of speech bubbles and then forgot about them....the other day I stumbled upon them and thought it would be perfect for this card. the background was created with one of Simon Says Stamp stencils and on top of that I adhered a piece of transparency paper to soften the background up.

So I thought I would share my speech bubbles with you to print out and use. They are hand drawn...like all my images. :)

I made wedding invitations (only a few...small intimate wedding) for a friend and I packaged it up and sent it to her..she got it today!! She loves the little details I added in the packaging...it's the little things! :)

I think I shall start off everyday listening to this!! :)

Back in the day

What's this?!! What's with the snowman you ask??? :)

I have started my Spring cleaning and it started with the laundry room and now I'm working on all our closets...I hate this part!!!! I have at least 20 single socks with no matching pair in sight....does anyone else have this problem?? I don't know where they go!!!!!!! Anyways....I found one of my Christmas cards that I made like 12 years ago if not more....it's this fella below! Back in the day...way before I started using stamps....I use to draw, colour, scan and print out my cards!! To colour I used my Derwent pencils.

And here's a little sneak peek....new JD stamps are a comin! :)

Laundry room

Hello

!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I have been planning to start my spring cleaning and my washing breaking down got things rolling! So I started with my laundry room (which originally wasn't suppose to be a laundry room but a washroom....it's such a long and stressful story...I wouldn't even know where to begin!)...it's a small space but it totally works....most homes in Croatia have their washing machines and dryers in the bathroom and that's how it was for us until we decided to turn this space into a laundry room...nothing fancy but I'm happy with it. I do have some ideas for this room but for now it is what it is! :)  So I scrubbed, dusted, cleaned everything in there inside out!! And the washing machine is fixed! Sorry about the photos...there's no natural light in there and I got only one ceiling light.

I also crocheted a cute little rug....I feel an addiction coming along...crocheting with hemp! :) I just did a simple single crochet for the whole rug.

Behind the door to the right I keep the ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

I have now moved onto the hall closet and pulled everything out and....I feel like I'm drowning in clothes, sheet, blankets.....help! :)
