I've been thinking about my blog lately....ideas, changes. This blog started off as place where I shared my crafty projects but with the Jane's Doodles blog now I've been sharing more of my other interests here as well. I want to make this blog as a kind of journal. I tend to over think things so I'm just going to start and tweek and change as I go. So here on this blog you'll get a peek into my every day, my interests (besides crafts) and I'll start with a little #tbt looking back at my instagram photos.

I love flowers and I'm trying to figure out which flower I'm going to draw next for Jane's Doodles.

I will be baking some ghoulishly yummy cupcakes for halloween (even though it's not celebrated here in Croatia) and I wanted to make cute little cupcake toppers and here's what I came up with. Thought I'd share it with you too. Just right click on the image, save and print (for personal use). I usually open my image in windows and adjust the size, then print.

If you read my blog then you'll know that this summer my mama came from Canada for a visit (and we haven't seen each other for 5 bloody years) and the 3 weeks just zoomed by. It was amazing having my mama here and to see her and the kids spend time together and to have an extra pair of hands was awesome. I felt less stressed and I realized no matter how old you are you always need your mama! :)

We had one day where we went out for lunch and did some shopping. When I say did some shopping I mean she spoiled me rotten! She spoiled all of us!

We had a yummy lunch.

We stopped at Zara, Promod and Tezenis and the spoiling began! :) 

I shared this gorgeous knit from Promod a while back on one of my Friday favourites. 

 I would trade all the goodies for one more day together! We miss her and I hope we won't have to wait another five years to see her!

These babies have been on my wish list forever!! I don't know why I LOVE these boots so much but I do! LOVE! And with all the rain we're getting (seriously...it won't stop...can't remember the last time we had sun!) these babies would have come in handy!

LOVE! I have not worn a watch since my oldest was born....13 years ago! The watch I did wear I gave a way long long time ago. Now I want this one! ;)

A dream of mine would to live on my own little farm! This kitchen reminds me of that. I'm so not a city girl. Give me some hunter boots and I'll be in the garden, collecting eggs from my chickens...ahhh to daydream!

I grew up in Canada and one of the things I miss is the Fall season. The leaves turn gorgeous colours, I mean just breathtaking and all the pumpkins (I love pumpkins). I'd like to celebrate with a SALE! I am (and my family) are very grateful for my customers and all who support Jane's Doodles!

Jane's Doodles Release Blog Hop!

Hello!

And welcome to another (mini) Jane's Doodles stamp release blog hop!

Not only am I adding this adorable set to the shop called 

Winter Wishes

I am also introducing new design team member. It was very very difficult choosing a few (that's why it took me so long) but I had several factors when choosing. Location was one of them. Many still don't know that I live in Croatia and that I ship world wide so I love that my design team is scattered around the globe!

One of the newest members is actually a long time beauty blogger. Vesna is from Croatia (now living in Sweden) and she's come to almost all of my workshops. I love to read her blog (which has been mostly beauty) and am excited that she is now getting crafty. I love that she's joined my team because she's a newbie at this craft with no sizzix machine or other tools (for now 'wink') and you don't need all the latest tools (although it's super fun to have them) to create a card.

A big welcome to Vesna, Neha and Vika! And a big thank you to the rest of the design team for always being awesome!

Tracy is joining us as our special guest designer. And I had asked another girl (through instagram) to be a guest designer and I lost her email. You know who you are so please email me!! I still would love your to be our guest designer (and sorry about that).

Here are my projects!

I stamped a circle all over a SRM kraft gift box using my Stripes and Dots stamp set.

Made a little tag out of a circle die and coloured the penguin and gift with my Graph'it markers. I created the background by blending some Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China and I masked off the snow by using a scrap piece of paper (and I just cut it to look like a snow bank).

This card is a perfect example of stretching your stamp sets and mixing them. Winter Wishes is a Christmas/winter theme but you can easily add some pumpkins and you've got an adorable Thanksgiving card. :) I used the pumpkins and sentiment from my Autumn Blessings stamp set.
