weekend

I had a lovely weekend. The weather felt more like summer than spring but I'm not complaining.

My mama sent me some happy mail and in it was some Zoya nail polishes. I LOVE this one (comes off a little lighter in the photo). It's called Eastyn. 

I also went to Ikea with my girlfriend. 

I tried this piece of goodness, can't remember what it's called but it's literally a snickers bar in cake form! My girlfriend had the carrot cake, also yum.

I started to crochet a throw for the sofa. It's going to take forever. :)

I worry lots....like way too much. I worry about the past, present and future and it's a horrible way to live. Wasting so much time on worrying and missing out on life. I'm working on it...it's hard but I do have different things that relax me like crocheting. Another is my faith. This one brings me comfort. :)

hello november

November is here! Wow. I know we all say it....but where does the time go?!

I have some friends and family who visit my blog but don't have facebook and instagram so I'll be sharing my instagram photos here on the blog,

Most trees here in Zagreb when turning leaves in the fall are pretty much yellow and brown but scattered here and there I'll come across these beautiful trees. The colour is amazing!

I'm always being asked why I don't sell my cowls. I just don't have the time. There are days where I don't crochet at all. I do it because I LOVE to do it and it relaxes me. The cowls I make I usually giveaway (some I've sold). I hope to do a little giveaway here on the blog.

I've been thinking about my blog lately....ideas, changes. This blog started off as place where I shared my crafty projects but with the Jane's Doodles blog now I've been sharing more of my other interests here as well. I want to make this blog as a kind of journal. I tend to over think things so I'm just going to start and tweek and change as I go. So here on this blog you'll get a peek into my every day, my interests (besides crafts) and I'll start with a little #tbt looking back at my instagram photos.

I love flowers and I'm trying to figure out which flower I'm going to draw next for Jane's Doodles.

instagram inspiration

Hello!

It's been a while! I am working on lots of things that I can't share right now. :)

I was looking through instagram (find loads of inspiration there) the other day and came across an adorable bunny pillow and checkered pillow and thought what a cute and simple card it would make!

I found this sweet pillow duo on @felicityjanestudio 's instagram.

So to re create the pillows I used my Spring and Stripes and Dots stamp sets.  For the stripes I inked the stamp up, stamped it on a scrap paper and then onto my cardstock (I didn't want it to be too bold and dark).

I decided to add a pop of colour and stamped my speech bubble from my Read All About It stamp set.
