my weekend...

Hi!

Sunday....already!!! Weekends just fly by....this weekend I picked up my crochet hook and started this....

I learned this camel stitch and I think it'll make a gorgeous scarf or cowl.

I also have been cleaning and organizing the basement...I moved all my stuff down there again...I think the kids could handle being on their own for a bit now...our basement is apart of our house but I have to go out onto my porch and take the stairs down to the basement...which is a good thing because it gives me some serparation from work and home...

Ophelia cuff and a sneak peek

Hi!

I have been wanting this Ophelia cuff from the Etsy shop Lotus Stone forever...I even pinned it way back! So I did something I haven't done in....years.......treated myself!! And I just LOVE my cuff!!

First of all Kristen (the owner) is sooooo sweet, helpful and professional! I had no problems with the shipping (which was international), communication was great and just take a look at how she packaged my cuff!!!

I got a sweet note and a little cloth (to clean my cuff with). I really like the fact that Kristen asks you to measure your wrist because I have chicken wrists...for real!

The only problem I have is I need MORE!!! Just look how gorgeous they are stacked in different widths (thin, medium (the one I got) and widest.....I need at least 2 more widest, another medium....)

I'm back!

Hi!
I'm back from our summer vacation....it was AMAZING...so loved spending quality time with my family!! :) I've got lots of catching up to do....sending packages (if you haven't received yours...I promise it's on it's way...a new stamp release blog hop....)

I'll share more vacation pictures and some Christmas cards....yes I said Christmas! LOL I'm sooooo bummed that summers coming to an end...school is around the corner (yuck! :)  )...and before we know it Christmas is here....but I LOVE Christmas! And I usually start my Christmas shopping in September.

Hi!

I'm getting ready for some much needed vacation!!!!! We'll be leaving in a couple of days and I have lots to do before we go....firstly see off our relatives from Canada, clean up, pack our stuff....I will be bringing my sketch pad to do some work and some cotton yarn for a little crochet action...I've been wanting to make some coasters. :)

I pinned some great freebies on Pinterest....like this back to school art.......I'm so not ready for school...I think I'm more miserable about it than my kids are!!!! homework...yuck!!! :)

I am impatiently waiting for Ikea to come to Croatia....It's funny while I was in Canada I never went to one....I can't tell you how many times I've driven to Austria to shop at Ikea!

Hi!

Just wanted to share some random stuff...here's my daughter with our pet budgie Miki! :)

I've mentioned that I LOVE make up and what's weird about that is I don't like to wear a lot of it!??! But I decided to try Bourjois's Healthy Mix Serum foundation (I read lots of great reivews) and I have to say I love it! I love that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing any...I still LOVE my Stila Tinted Moisturizer (my FAV).

Another thing from Bourjois that I'm loving is this concealer stick....it's oil free and doesn't cake up! I use it for my dark circles (my dark circles are genetic...I come from a long line of raccoons! :) I don't think there's a product out there that will conceal them but this comes pretty close!

I bought this nailpolish by Make Up Factory called Maliblu from their latest collection called Bronzage Maritime. I put it on my daughter's nails and the colour is gorgeous...I usually don't go for bright and colourful nails but I thought I'd give this shade a go.

This nailpolish called Fairy Brown is also from this collection...I'm tempted to get this one too!

 I've been eyeing this linen cabinet from Ikea for our bathroom! I just love the colour!

Often when I visit some of my favourite blogs I come across certain things that are not available here in Croatia.....Yankee Candles being one of them.....until now.....at least now is when I stumbled across a website where I saw that they are available here!!! (for the Zagreb peeps the store is on Gundulićeva 18).

I can't wait to go there and just SNIFFFFFFFFFF all the candles!!! :) Here are some I think I'd like....do you have any favourites???

This Croatian on-line shop has probably been around for a while....but it's new to me...I'm ALWAYS out of the loop...anyways I spotted this nailpolish there....LOVE this colour!! Never heard of this brand.

And could you believe that they even sell some of Burt's Bees goodies there too!!!! I soooo want this!! :)

We took the kids skating today and I have no idea where we were...never been there before but there's this mall there and I spotted a shop that I just never wanted to leave!!!! It was closed though (it's a holiday here in Croatia) but I did leave my face imprint on the glass....it reminds me of L'Occitane...very similar...it's called Durance....have you heard of it??

Just look at this trio....drool!

And then there's this cute travel brush kit set from Sigma that I want....don't really need it...just want it! :)
