Jane's Doodles + Efco

Hello!

Hope all is well!

I've got half an hour before I have to pick up Mia from school and then another half hour before I have to go pick up Marko from school...make lunch, feed the kids, start homework, drive Jakov to school..... grrrrr!!

I wanted to quickly share this project I've been working on with a German company Efco    (who by the way are so sweet and patient with me.....the lady who deals with me is so sweet AND I found out that I was born in the same city where she is from - Dusseldorf!). Basically someone had recommended me to them as an artist (they like my hand drawn style) and I'm sure you're asking why in the world would you take on more work when you're struggling with time...good question! :)

I just thought it would be a good experience for me...to push me out of my comfort zone. They have used lots of my existing stamp designs but they have commissioned designs too. Totally their idea, I mean they showed me what they wanted and my job was to just draw it in 'my hand drawn style' so I didn't come up with the design...and I found this to be quite difficult!  There's a whole other batch that is in the making.

And because it's a German company the sentiments are of coarse in German! :)

Another thing that was difficult for me was the size of the stamp set and individual stamps. I think most who follow me know I prefer big stamp images personally...but this is why I wanted to do this...push me out of my comfort zone...it's not about what I want but what Efco wants. These stamps are manufactured at the same place mine are and I tested the quality and they're great! :)
The sets are 2x3 inches and cost $3.75

I'm adding them to my shop so by the end of the day they will all have been added...I believe there's 6 in total...and like I mentioned more coming! :)

I'd love to do a giveaway...one winner will receive all 6 sets. Anyone can play just leave me a comment telling me if you prefer big images or smaller images for stamping.

Take care!

i like to stamp bigger images, but at the same time i like the smaller images more, because everything small is cute :D but it's definitely easier to color the bigger ones, so i guess my answer would be... bigger stamps :)

Also, greater images! Because I can use them on the gift wrapping or similar... Loveeee these ones

Dear Jane, lovely as ever. Specially fox!
Love the smaller one, as I use stamps on my tags.

I love that owl!! Super cute. I like larger stamps for watercoloring or copic coloring but I make a lot of tags so small ones are perfect.

I like both small and big depending on how I will use them, like on a card or a tag or a bookmark. The little owl is just adorable.

Absolutely love that owl image:).. And personally I prefer to work with smaller images for my cards to make it quick with coloring :)
Thank you so much for a chance to win these awesome stamps !

I am completely in love with owl and fox. I prefer smaller images, to make it quick with coloring, I am just starting to learn everything and am always short with cash when you have some workshop scheduled :) Thank you for a great giveway!!! All the best and kisses to kids :) Maja

I too love a big size but small stamps can do more I think...they can be masked and grouped together, I think you may learn to love them Jane!!
TFS and CONGRATULATIONS and continued success to you!!

Love your stamps...I'm kind of partial to big stamps...I like that I can paper piece easier using larger images... Thank you for showing the sizes of things...they are super cute in this size!

Good for you...pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. I like smaller images just not tiny.

Congratulations - Well done for going out of your comfort zone. I'm so happy for your new adventure.

As for size of image I use both - sometimes I like a large stamp and sometimes a smaller one! If my image is small and I want to fill a big space I might stamp it a few times. Sorry didn't really answer your question :)

Wow - love your new stamp designs! These are adorable! I actually enjoy stamping with both big and small stamps. If I had to choose, I would say bigger ones - yours are a perfect size because I enjoy both!

This is awesome...I love the big images for a regular sized card. But the small ones are great for tags and backgrounds! Adorable owl!

Congrats!! That's an amazing opportunity. I love your style, too. I always download your freebies to play with but never seem to have enough time to craft. I love images of all sizes, it's nice to have an assortment!

Congratulations, Jane! I prefer bigger images over smaller, but both have their place!

I guess I like the medium sized stamps. I make cards and I do fairly simple ones without a lot of background and such. If they are too small, it looks silly and too big doesn't work well for me either. How's that for wishy-washy!
