Happy Friday!!

Well...it's over...summer that is...for me anyway!! Monday is the first day of school...why does it feel like I'm the one going back to school....might I remind you all that I was Peppermint Patty (from the Peanuts gang)....LOL

Anyways....here's a card I created using our Doodle Flowers and Patterns for Him (I stamped the patterns onto the orange cardstock and blue strip) stamp sets (I'm feeling the need for a Doodle Flowers II). I glittered it to death (after I coloured the flowers with markers). I also used some SRM stickers.

 

I LOVE sunflowers!!!!....and pumpkins.....Fall is peeking it's head around the corner!! :)

Suzi is another hand drawn set by me....there's a bit of a story to this.....I LOVE Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang.....to this day!! Peppermint Patty....oh that was so me! LOL So Suzi is inspired by the Peanuts gang and I named her Suzi...after one of my real life best friends! :)

I have to mention that I just received my stamps yesterday....so I had to make hybrid cards because I didn't want to postpone the blog hop anymore.....

Here's a tag I created using Winnie! :)

I used copics and Graph it markers to colour her. And a SRM sticker.

Ok....I think this is the most bling I've ever used on a single projects!!!!!!! I coloured the roses with Graph it markers, used the chevron pattern from our Patterns for Him stamp set to create my background. And another SRM sticker! :)

I think I'm going to send this card to my Mama! :) She loves flowers!

And last but not least Suzi! :)

She looks like my BF...the hair and the HUGE smile....Suzi's got one of the most biggest, beautiful smiles! And she's got a heart of gold....I'm a lucky gal to have her as my friend!

I stamped the butterfly from Mariana's Fly High set on the blue paper to create my background...I used versamark ink to creat a tone on tone look.

Christmas in August!

Hey!

I'll be sharing a few Christmas cards in the next few days....I like getting started on Christmas early....planning out gifts, cards etc. I actually start shopping in September...it's saves on time and easier on the wallet when you space it out! ;)

So here's a card I created using my Vintage Christmas stamp set, for the sentiment I used a SRM sticker. For those who don't know I use to be on the SRM Design Team and I continue to use SRM stickers because they're awesome, the company is awesome...!

I distressed this card using white and some of Tim Holtz distress inks (I believe Tea Dye and Vintage Photo)...and a little glitter action on ol' St. Nick's beard! :)

I'm back!

Hi!
I'm back from our summer vacation....it was AMAZING...so loved spending quality time with my family!! :) I've got lots of catching up to do....sending packages (if you haven't received yours...I promise it's on it's way...a new stamp release blog hop....)

I'll share more vacation pictures and some Christmas cards....yes I said Christmas! LOL I'm sooooo bummed that summers coming to an end...school is around the corner (yuck! :)  )...and before we know it Christmas is here....but I LOVE Christmas! And I usually start my Christmas shopping in September.

Hi!

I'm getting ready for some much needed vacation!!!!! We'll be leaving in a couple of days and I have lots to do before we go....firstly see off our relatives from Canada, clean up, pack our stuff....I will be bringing my sketch pad to do some work and some cotton yarn for a little crochet action...I've been wanting to make some coasters. :)

I pinned some great freebies on Pinterest....like this back to school art.......I'm so not ready for school...I think I'm more miserable about it than my kids are!!!! homework...yuck!!! :)

My Memories and a giveaway!

Happy Monday!!

And boy is it happy on the blog! I've got an exciting giveaway!! I've been contacted by My Memories to play around with their My Memories Suite software. I have mentioned before how I have no clue on how to use photoshop, illustrator etc. but I do digital stamps and create a lot of hybrid cards (best of both worlds) so I was really curious of how easy it really is........well it IS! I did this without reading any introduction, instructions or watching any of there videos! I'm leaving on holidays soon and wanted to share this with you all!

When creating this album I had a choice of using the designer templates or designing my own...from scratch! Since I'm a beginner I used this designer template but

I was really excited to learn that you can change all the elements...like for this first layout...I changed the title and added 'love' to the two black strips where it preciously had the days of the week on them. I did that by accident...I thought that all I would be able to do is add the photos and text but you can change it up! :)

Like I said I did this really quickly and wanted to share it with you all before I go back and make some changes...another bonus...you can always go back and make changes and/or adjustments.

Many of you know that my mom lives in Canada and these albums are just perfect! I know she would just love receiving these albums/layouts. I will also be doing my Christmas cards this way.....we have A LOT of family and friends and there is no way I can make handmade cards...just don't have the time.

I added some text on this layout....you pretty much can do whatever you want to do!
