Hi!

Here's a card I created for the Jane's Doodles blog today.

I used my Pretty Peonies stamp set and did lots of masking to create this card.

I quickly coloured the flowers with copics, cut on of the flowers out and added some glitter. The sentiment is a SRM sticker.

I don't have a card to share today but I did spot this beautyvon Mariana's blog...she used our Mother's Flower's stamp set (that she designed). I LOVE everything about it...the colours, pattern paper, stitching...

Hi!

The inspiration behind this card came after I found out that a blog friend of ours recently lost someone.

I used my Garden Friends stamp set and the masking technique to create this one layered card. I coloured it with copics and Marvy Le Plume markers (which I find blend wonderfully together and they are cheaper too!).

There's a story to this card...well at least in my head! :)

The frog you see isn't feeling to good...after all it ain't easy being green...and he friends gather around him to remind him that he's not alone. :)

Hi!

Just wanted to share some random stuff...here's my daughter with our pet budgie Miki! :)

I've mentioned that I LOVE make up and what's weird about that is I don't like to wear a lot of it!??! But I decided to try Bourjois's Healthy Mix Serum foundation (I read lots of great reivews) and I have to say I love it! I love that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing any...I still LOVE my Stila Tinted Moisturizer (my FAV).

Another thing from Bourjois that I'm loving is this concealer stick....it's oil free and doesn't cake up! I use it for my dark circles (my dark circles are genetic...I come from a long line of raccoons! :) I don't think there's a product out there that will conceal them but this comes pretty close!

I bought this nailpolish by Make Up Factory called Maliblu from their latest collection called Bronzage Maritime. I put it on my daughter's nails and the colour is gorgeous...I usually don't go for bright and colourful nails but I thought I'd give this shade a go.

This nailpolish called Fairy Brown is also from this collection...I'm tempted to get this one too!

 I've been eyeing this linen cabinet from Ikea for our bathroom! I just love the colour!

altered notebook

Hi!

Poppin' in to share a little project I did.

I altered this notebook I bought at my favourite craft shop in Zagreb - NB Hobby & Art! I am so thrilled that finally I can find lots of crafty materials and not have to order everything on line! :)

I paper pieced my owl (from my you're a hoot! stamp set)...I also stamped some clouds from my Home Sweet Home stamp set..can you see them? :) I also stamped some polka dots onto the book cover.

I think this project would make a sweet little gift! :)

Jane's Doodles blog hop

Hi!!

Welcome to another Jane's Doodles blog hop!! We've got 3 new stamp sets this month. The first set is designed (hand drawn) by me and it's called Home Sweet Home. I just LOVE this set if I do say so myself!! :)

I just wish I had more time to play with our new stamp sets but I'm busy drawing new sets for ya....and I have to say it's quite time consuming...but I LOVE it! :)

I did some masking for this card....colouring these images is so easy...no need for blending really....I just went with the same copic marker over the image....I coloured over the spots I wanted darker a few times more (you know what I'm trying to say).

The lovely Mariana designed our next two sets.....I used Raindrops to create this fun and colourful card. I think this card would cheer someone who's feeling a little under the weather?!

I stamped these cute boots onto cardstock and cut them out...easy!! 

Mariana's next stamp set is Mother's Flowers and this is the card I created with it.

My mom's favourite colour is yellow. Simple and easy card to make....the roses are easy and quick to colour.

We've got an AMAZING Guest Designer joining us once again, even though she's sick ...Jennifer McGuire! :)

crochet bug

Hi!

I've been bit by the crochet bug!!! I'm soooo not a pro. When I was ten my grandmother came to Canada to visit us for Christmas and she taught me the basics....and when she went back to Croatia I never did any crocheting until my father got sick and passed away, I was 21....I have to say it IS therapy...for me very relaxing! I'm in the middle of making a blanket for my daughter...will share that on the blog when I make some more progress.

There are so many awesome tutorials out there that I want to learn and try out. I HATE reading patterns...it's like math and I never liked math!!!!!!! I like video tutorials much better! :)
