Jane's Doodles stamp release blog hop

Hello and welcome to another Jane's Doodles stamp release blog hop!

Ok...for my first card I used our Owl from our you're a hoot! stamp set because as soon as I saw that hat from our It's the Season stamp set I knew he'd rock it!! :) I stamped the snowflake border/background stamp onto the red cardstock and added glitter to the hat! :)

Christmas is the season for baking lots of goodies and I love sharing with friends, family and neighbours and wouldn't this be a cute way to package up those Christmas cookies!! The polka dots are from our Suzi stamp set and I just LOVE the cross stitch tree!!

Here's another goodie package!! The chevron pattern is from our Patterns for Him stamp set. The sentiment is a SRM sticker...the cute red wooden button is from NB Hobby & Art. 

I did a little distressing with inks on this card....I just love the snowflakes I used for the background. Another SRM sticker. Coloured all my images except the spaceship card with Graph'it markers (more details on that in a bit).

But before Christmas comes Autumn and Halloween. This sunflower is so easy to colour and I made it nice and big. Sentiment...another SRM sticker! :) The background I created using our It's a Guy Thing stamp set.

This is my husbands favourite card...simple, green and to the point!! :)

I stamped polka dot all over after I coloured in the friendly alien! :)  Polka dots are from our Suzi stamp set.

And I saved my favourite card for last...........I just LOVE it! :)

Ophelia cuff and a sneak peek

Hi!

I have been wanting this Ophelia cuff from the Etsy shop Lotus Stone forever...I even pinned it way back! So I did something I haven't done in....years.......treated myself!! And I just LOVE my cuff!!

First of all Kristen (the owner) is sooooo sweet, helpful and professional! I had no problems with the shipping (which was international), communication was great and just take a look at how she packaged my cuff!!!

I got a sweet note and a little cloth (to clean my cuff with). I really like the fact that Kristen asks you to measure your wrist because I have chicken wrists...for real!

The only problem I have is I need MORE!!! Just look how gorgeous they are stacked in different widths (thin, medium (the one I got) and widest.....I need at least 2 more widest, another medium....)

Hi!!

Today is my oldest's birthday (I have three babies in case you were wondering :) )!! The big double digit....10!!!

What can I say about this boy!! I don't think there's a bad bone in him. The best way to describe his sweet nature is with an example. Some of you who have been visiting my blog for a longer period of time will remember that we had work being done on the house and one of the workers (who is a neighbour) fell off our roof and died. I was home when it happened (the kids thankfully were not). I did tell the kids what happened. About two or three months after this happened one night during our bedtime prayers we always ask God to bless our friends, family and the sick, poor...pretty much everyone! :) Marko interrupts us and says 'God bless that worker who died.........mama, I'll never forget him!'....it still brings tears to my eyes.....that's Marko...sweet, compationate and loving! :)

So let's celebrate this sweet boy with a giveaway!!! I'm giving away two Jane's Doodles stamp sets....

I used our Patterns for Him stamp set to create my background and our Roses stamp set. I coloured the rose with markers (copics, le plume and Graph'it....they are work beautifully together). The sentiment is a SRM sticker.

Meet Oggy!

Hi!

Long time no see!!!! I just had to take some time off....I had a yucky cold and now my youngest has got it! I'm so behind on everything but I'm trying not to let that stress me out.

So here's Oggy (my neighbours dog inspired this drawing and so I named it after him).....my newest digital stamp freebie for ya'll! :)

I used our It's a Guy Thing stamp set to create my backgroun, coloured Oggy with markers (copic, le plume and Graph'it)....I also created the sentiment in Word.

I used Graph'it markers to colour the flower....which is a French brand. I plan to do a review and comparison (to Copics) in the near future. I LOVE these markers! :)
