Happy Independence Day Hrvatska!
I found some great pictures on the internet of Croatia....
Zagreb
One of my FAVOURITE cities...Zadar!!
Zadar
This is the bell tower of St. Anselm's church in the city of Nin (my mom is from Nin)...the bell tower is from the 12 century I believe...it's the church I got married in.
St. Anselm
And this BEAUTIFUL church is right next to the one I got married in!!! St. Križ is from the 9th Century. It takes my breath away every time I see it!

And this is 'our beach'.

My dad use to wear a shirt that said....
'Kiss me...I'm Croatian!'
Have a great day!!!

Oh my word these pictures look so heavenly! What a beautiful place and to live so close to the sea must be magical! Is that the Adriatic Sea?
Yes it is the Adriatic Sea!
Fabulous pics, Jane! Looks like a beautiful country to live in!
Have a happy day Jane! I loved the bell towers when we visited on holiday... your pictures have made me want to hurry back again even more! Jo x
What gorgeous pictures of Croatia!! :) And I love the flags as well. We have a huge one hanging up in our house.
My husband is Croatian and we are going to visit his mother there next month. She lives on an island in Dalmatia close to Split, so your photo of the Adriatic really reminds me of her home! Have a great day, Monica
