Here's Mia's invitation...I might make slight changes...or not.

I used Hero Arts digital kit Polky Dots to create my yellow polka dot paper and the sentiment is also Hero Arts. I also used Jen Martakis's Notebook Basics digital kit. I made the rose (out of fimo) and will be adding them to my Etsy shop soon.

She's my little Miss Piggy (from the Muppets)...really...attitude and all! LOL That's the face she makes when I call her Miss Piggy!

Hi!!

Before I go on about my cards I suggest you pop on over to Mel's blog and check out some major CREATIVITY!!! She used my Babushka digi stamp and well you'll just have to

check it out! ;) Also...I've noticed some people leaving comments that they are called Matryoshka dolls.......people I know they are traditionally Russian MATRYOSHKA dolls but I am CROATIAN!! LOL And my family (along with some other Croatians) like to call them Babushka....I just find it's more fun to say! ;)

So here's a cute birthday card I made using the cupcake from my digi stamp 'Jane's Bakery'.

I used alot of glossy accents on the cherry and stem to keep it strong (to keep the stem from tearing off). The sentiment is Hero Arts.

I found this 'note' card (below) while going through some stuff...I made this years ago for a friend who is the top florist (Feresin) in Zagreb as far as I'm concerned...anyways, they deliver flowers and often need a nice, simple small 'note' card (one-sided) with enough space to write down a message so I made her some and this was one of them....

...which now is the inspiration for my next digi stamp so stay tuned! ;)

I drew this, coloured it, scanned it and then printed it out. I think I was able to fit 6 on a A4 paper.

Hi!!

I just wanted to share some EXCITING news!! I'm now on the My Cute Stamps design team!! YAY!! I can't wait to get started!

Did you know that my very first stamp set that I ordered is My Cute Stamps 'Spunky Nature'....and I even blogged about it....and it was my very first post!!!! You tell me!!!!

This is the card I made with it (along with yummy Hero Arts stamps). I then ordered soon after My Cute Stamps 'Royal Celebration' and I made my daughter's birthday invitations.

How excited am I!! ;) Well I'm off to make more handmade buttons and will be filling up my Etsy shop soon.

Hey!

I'm working on those wedding invitations but I can't share that just now but Mia's birthday is in March and so I have started planning her party....she celebrates at preschool and has another one at home with family and her best pal (our neighbour).

I always hand out thank you favours and think that these tags would be cute! I made the button and rose....for her cake I'm going to try to make colourful roses out of marzipan paste...

The 'thank you' sentiment I won on Virginia's challenge.....I love it!!! Thanks! Also Mia got some goodies from Virginia....she was thrilled! ;)

I went to the hobby store to buy some paper and fimo and to my surprise I found these goodies!!! Fiskars puncher and Versa cube ink....only in silver and gold but hey that's a start!!!! I also found this ZIP-IT pencil case....you basically zip the whole thing into shape....you can check it out here. Fun!

Here's a birthday card I made with some yummy Hero Arts stamps!

The polka dot paper is from a Hero Arts digi kit...polka dots. LOVE it! And I got to use some of my pp scraps.

Just sharing some tags I made for my friend....she used them on some birthday favors she handed out...I should have taken a picture of the favor with the tag...but we're talking about peanut M&M's!!! I opened it up in car!!!

Anyways.........I just also wanted to add that I'll be MIA for a bit........I'm happy to say that I had five packs of my handmade fimo buttons for sale in my Etsy shop and sold all 5!! I can't keep up! So between my buttons, my doodles and I'm working on wedding invitations for one of my son's teachers from preschool......very little time for blog land.

It's snowing today......lots of snow this winter.......and it is also Carnival here in Croatia (something like Halloween....only better ;) ha ha).....so my daughter left for daycare as a princess of coarse........oh and speaking of my daughter...please check back because there will be a 'girly' giveaway in her name......very soon! ;)

It's release day at Squigglefly and I have a new digi stamp set called 'Bird Watching'!!

Here's my card using the Owl on a branch. I printed this image on kraft and brown cardstock and cut them out....the great thing is you could cut out this image without any waste. I used the brown branch with the kraft owl...and I have this brown owl and kraft branch for another card.

I coloured in the belly with a brown copic marker...used glossy accents on the eyes.

Here's a card I made for the CPS challenge and the Embellish Magazine challenge.

I coloured in the flower with copics and cut it out. Distressed the whole card and added a little glossy accents on the center of the flower.

I don't know how it is on your part of the world but we are snowed in!!!!...literally, we're stuck...we live on a hill! I LOVE it! Will have to take some pictures. I can't remember this much snow in years!!

I'm playing along with the 2S4Y challenge this week....I'm pretty sure this is my first circle card?! And I think this card could beat the winter blahs!!! Check out Virginia's challenge! Anyways..I'm hooked! I'm also going to send this card in for Jennifer's Cards for Kids drive.

I printed Spike on white cardstock and yummy K&Company pp and did some paper piecing. I used some glossy accents on his eyes and coloured in his spikes and legs with copics. You can find Spike along with my other digi stamps here at Squigglefly.

A Babushka Valentine and a winner!

Here's my very non-traditional Valentine's Day card using my digi stamp Sasha. I have quite a few friends who don't like the whole red, pink, hearts and lace business.....but I don't think they'd mine a nice non-red/pink Babushka! ;) I on the other hand LOVE all the PINK and RED!!! ;)

I printed Sasha out on different coloured cardstock and cut out the parts I needed and pieced her together.
