Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #11

Hi!
Okay when I saw these colours I said ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! A challenge is a challenge so here's my card. I can't tell you how many times I reached for white card stock!!!
MUST_ HAVE_ WHITE!!!!!! ;)
Anyways, I took quick photos this morning.......the first one is in my daughter's bedroom and the second is outside..............where I came into some furry difficulty as you can see for yourself!! My nephews and nieces from Canada named him Max........he's sooo darn sweet but I think we should have called him Curious George!!
.....after a few unsuccessful shots I finally got this one! There is a slight difference in the colours. I like the photo I took outside better.

Anyways for this card I used my Cuddlebug Swiss Dots folder, and I just had to use my lovely Labels 1 Nest. (I got it in the mail yesterday!!). I drew the butterflies and then cut them out. On the bigger butterfly I used one of PTI's Guide Lines Two stamps......and I used Versamark's ink in Dazzle. My sister-in-law brought me some craft goodies from Canada which includes the red flowers on this card. The brad is from Basic Grey................AND the sentiment which I stamped using Chalk Ink in black is PTI's Handwritten Notes that I won on Betsy Veldman's challenge......here's my card that I made for that challenge! I LOVE Betsy!!!
That's it for me!! Lots to do today so I better get started!
Have a great day!

This is GORGEOUS, Jane! Love that bold and bright butterfly - way to go pure on the colors in the challenge and NOT USE WHITE! As you saw in my card, I had to throw some in ;)

You're hilarious! I LOVE YOUR CAT! If it weren't for that pesky white, he could have gone just fine with your card! Tee hee I REALLY struggled with the "white" conundrum myself! Doh! It's gooooood to be challenged, though, huh!?! You made a WONDERFUL card and if I didn't read your post, I would have thought it came VERY easily! Fantastic work!

Great card. Love the butterfly. I had similar trials trying to get a good photo of my card (minus the kitty -- but if I'd gone outside it would've been a dog for sure!).

Isn't amazing how the colors change from inside to an outside photograph?! I got a giggle from your kittty. Everytime I try to photograph anything outside (which is where I go most of the time), if I try to shoot it on the deck, suddenly my kitties are rubbing on me, the camera, and of course, my paper crafts!! Often, I end up on a low fence. :> Your card came out really well! I love all the subtle textures and prints that make for a fab clean card! :>

Yeah,
I say,why buy a cutting machine and die when you can just cut out a butterfly freehand.

Hey Jane! Congrats on being one of Dawn's top picks! I LOVE taking pics of my cards outside too! The best light is mid afternoon for me. Which means I can't wait until the last minute to finish my cards. I have a lightbox, but the natural light is just perfect IMO. :-)
