ahhh...no more homework!

So what do we do......make pizza! :)

I always make my own pizza dough...not an expert...it's nothing fancy..but it works for me!

1kg flour

about a table spoon of salt (I don't really measure it)

1 packet of dry yeast (I use the Dr. Oetker 7g packets) 

2 cups of warm water (I use my coffee mug to measure)

a splash of milk :)

Add more water if too dry or more flour if too wet.

After taking all your frustrations out on the poor dough let it chill for a bit before giving it a few more shots! :)

This make 3 pizzas. I freeze them...comes in handy on days when you just don't feel like cooking or are short with time...my family loves pizza. My favourite is pizza with tuna (tomatoes, onions and olives).

I made some tags last night (handed out some little gifts for my kids teachers). I used my new Doodle Flowers stamp set. These were so easy to make...and fast!

I bought plain, solid coloured paper bags (cute and cheap) and added the tag with some bakers twine.

My Mr. Owl from my you're a hoot! stamp set makes a perfect tag for a guy! :)

And here they are all in a row! :)

Jane's Doodles Stamp Release blog hop!

Hi!

I'm so EXCITED to finally share our newest Jane's Doodles stamps! We've made some changes (that's why we're running a little late)...we changed manufacturers, our stamps are still made in the USA out of the hightest quality of photopolymer clear stamps.

So we've got 4 new sets!! For my first card I used It's a Guy Thing designed by Mariana...I just LOVE this set! The inspiration for this card came from Maile's card here. And since EURO 2012 has started and my husband is GLUED to the TV and growls like a dog if anyone attempts to take the remote...  (he plays soccer, LOVES soccer, watches soccer.....must I go on) I thought this would be the perfect card for him! :)

The senitiment is from our awesome Just Dad stamp set that Judith designed!

Which brings me to my next project....I took just about every sentiment from our Just Dad stamp set and stamped over the front of a kraft paper bag. I stamped the I heart Dad sentiment onto a tag and added glitter to the heart...threw in some chocolates and tied it up with some twine...I think it turned out pretty cool! :)

Mariana also designed an AWESOME background stamp set called Patterns for Him....LOVE!!!...you all know how much I LOOOVE background stamps!! I created this layout for a workshop I'll be doing tomorrow at NB Hobby&Art...I used the chevron pattern on the blue paper...see the polka dots (on the sun and the yellow banners on the top right)...that's from my set Doodle Flowers.

And I'm sure ya'll recognize the owl from my you're a hoot! stamp set! :) I also used some SRM stickers, die cuts and one of my handmade buttons.

And for my last project I used my Doodle Flowers stamp set (that I designed...you all know that I hand draw my sets)...I have to say....I'm just loving this set too!! :)

At the beginning I mentioned changes...well another change is a new addition to the Jane's Doodles DT.....the crazy TALENTED Laura Bassen has joined us!!!!!!

I have a KICK BUTT DT!! I'm so grateful for them!! :)

sneak peek and NB Hobby&Art

Hi!

So many projects going on my head is spinning!!!! Here's another sneak peek....Judith created another ADORABLE sentiments stamp set...you're going to LOVE it!

I have been invited to another Happy Hours at NB Hobby&Art (13.06.2012) where I will demonstrate how I created this layout!  As you can see I used my owl from my you're a hoot! stamp set...I also used some of our newest stamps too...can you spot them?! :)
