diy toilet paper roll bunnies

Hello!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I've got another project using toilet paper rolls that's great for kids and all you kid at heart folks! :)
Depending on how old your children are the most difficult part is cutting it out just because of the shape but the rest is easy peasy!

So first you'll want to cut out the shape...I just out lined the ears with a white pencil....you'll want to use small sharp scissors and I found it easier to cut toward my left if that makes sense.

Once you've cut out your bunny but out your white acrylic paint (or any colour you want) and I found two coats were enough.

For this bunny I did a little paper piecing.....just choose the paper you want and adhere it to the ears (I also covered it with glitter glue to add a little sparkle).

I drew the eyes, nose and mouth but you could add googly eyes too.

Don't forget the bunny's tail! :) Cotton balls will do the trick!

I added a touch of 'blush' by dabbing and blending some pink ink.

For the other bunny I didn't do any paper piecing and just drew all my details, coloured them in with marker and added some glitter.

I'll be doing this with my kids....we just need one more toilet paper roll! :)

Have a great day!

diy toilet paper bat

Hello!
I wanted to share this little easy diy toilet paper bat project I plan to do with my kids...I got the idea from seeing this on Pinterest.

First take your toilet paper roll and bend the top (I adhere some glue dots so the tops stay down) and paint (I did two coats).

Cut out the wings (I tried to upload the bat wing template I drew but blogger ain't having it so you'll have to go here to get the template, make sure to resize the template.) and you don't have to but I stamped polka dots (from my Doodle Flowers stamp set) on them (you can add glitter, heat emboss..)

Fold the wing, and glue/adhere it on the sides.

Add some googly eyes....

Have a great day!
