NB Hobby & Art tutorials

Hope all is well! :)

I'm sharing some projects that I did for NB Hobby (NB Hobby's webpage got a facelift!! LOVE it!!)...for my project I did a paper piecing tutorial...just a simple card to demonstrate paper piecing...you can find this tutorial here. It's in Croatian but I do believe that soon the NB Hobby webpage will have an English option too!

Here's some sneak peeks of another step by step tutorial I did for NB Hobby. I just wanted to show my process when doing a layout...this one is of my daughter. Don't have a tag die..make your own!! :) This heart stamp is from my you're a hoot! stamp set.

I LOVE layering and adding different textures to my work and if you're just starting out at scrapbooking I think using black and white photos make it easier to work with your papers and other elements.

OBOŽAVAM raditi sa slojevima, dodavajući različite teksture mojim radovima, a ako ste tek početnik u scrapbookingu mislim da korištenje crno-bijele fotografije olakšava rad s papirima i ostalim elementima. 

Don't be afraid to draw/write your own embellishments...I simple wrote my text out and drew a little border and drew up a cute little arrow. I don't particularily like my hand writing but it makes it so much more personal.

Nemojte se bojati crtati / pisati vlastite ukrase... Jednostavno sam napisala tekst i nacrtala ukrasni rub, i izradila slatku malu strelicu. Ne sviđa mi se osobito moj rukopis, ali to čini moj rad mnogo osobniji.

Cosmo Cricket LOVE

Hi!

What a lucky girl I am to be able to play Cosmo Cricket GOODNESS!!!! Cosmo Cricket is one of my favourite companies.....I especially love that they have their yummy 6x6 paper pads.

Here are a few projects I created with SRM stickers and Cosmo Cricket! :)

Here's my Mia...isn't she SWEET! :)

She reminds me of Kermit the Frog for some reason!! LOL

And here's a layout of my youngest having the time of his life!!! He LOVES LOVES the water!

Here's another one of Mia...not bragging or anything but isn't she the CUTEST!!! :) 

If you ever need a birthday card in a flash...these stacked presents from my Party Time stamp set is the perfect stamp....btw there's a Party Time giveaway here!

I also made this little origami box....it makes a cute little gift box.

I made this tag to use on a SRM tube for a friend who started work again (after being on maternity leave). I put a lipgloss in it.

Last but not least....Mr. Smiles!!! I love him! I wanted to add a lot of googly eyes so before I inked him up I put scotch tape over his eyes, inked him up, took the tape off and stamped him on cardstock.

I stamped him on pink CC pattern paper and just added some depth with a slightly darker pink copic marker. A little glossy accents, I used a white gel pen to colour in his teeth...some glitter and voila....a pretty darn handsome Mr. Smiles! :)
