I'm feeling a bit better today thanks! :)

I've got two more rejects! :)

I made this card using my Winnie the Witch digital stamp and Big Sentiments and Autumn Blessings stamp sets. I did some masking with the pumpkin stamps. I coloured Winnie using Graph'it Markers (which by the way you can order here at Polka Doodles). For my crafty Croatians you can these markers at NB Hobby & Art.

For this tag I heat embossed with white ink and did a little colouring with my Derwent pencil crayons. I used my Autumn Blessings and Big Sentiments for this project.

Hi!

Today my Mia turned 8! It was like yesterday I brought this sweet chubby bald baby girl home from the hospital!! My husband celebrates his birthday tomorrow!! I've got a crazy busy weekend which is fine only I've got a horrible cold which I'm starting to think is a sinus infection! :(

I used my Autumn Blessings stamp set and the sentiment is from our Big Sentiments stamp set.

I used Graph'it markers to colour (will add the colours later).

Oh and I stamped the polka dots using my Doodle Flowers stamp set.

Poppin in to share a card for a birthday girl (not mine...I told you I have lot's of bday's this month). This was a quick card because I used left overs from other projects! I love using up my scraps! :)

I heat embossed using clear embossing powder on the background using on of the background stamp from our Holiday Patterns stamp sets. I also stamped the chevron pattern (from our Patterns for Him stamp set) onto the green cardstock. The sentiment is a SRM sticker.

So I woke up to this!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?!!! Now...I LOVE snow and we got so much this winter and I just LOVED it...but I have to say...leave it alone Jack Frost!!!

Buttermilk Pancakes

Hi!

I cannot tell you how many times I have made these pancakes!!!!!!!!!! It's like asking me how many rocks there are!! :) Everybody loves them and they even saved my neighbours life...true story!  But I'm not sure if I ever shared this recipe.

Buttermilk Pancakes

1 3/4 cups flour

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salk

2 cups buttermilk (if you don't have any substitute combine 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar to make one cup)

1/4 cup oil

2 eggs

If your batter is too thick add a little more milk...too runny add more flour.

In a bowl mix eggs, buttermilk and oil (just until combined). Add dry ingredients and mix until combined you don't want to over mix!!

My kids LOVE them with Nutella! :)

Easy Lemon Cake

Hello!

My mom gave me this recipe (my aunt gave it to her). It's simple, quick and yummy!

Now this is a Croatian recipe which means there are no 'measuring cups' like the kind that are used for US and Canadian etc. recipes...you know the measuring cups and spoons I'm talking about. For this recipe you use a tablespoon...I tried it with both my regular tablespoon that I eat with and with my measuring tablespoon...both work only I find that when I make it with my 'measuring tablespoon' it's a tad more moist which I prefer. Another thing is when I scoop up my ingredients with my measuring spoon I don't level it off with a knife...I just shake it a bit to level it off...so it shouldn't be perfect....a little extra on the spoon is fine.

Easy Lemon Cake

24 tablespoons of flour

12 tablespoons of sugar

12 tablespoons of water

12 tablespoons of oil

2 eggs

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 lemon (grind and juice)

Mix all the ingredients together for about 2-3 minutes on medium high. Bake (in preheated oven) at 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F for about 18-20 minutes...check with a toothpick.

I like to top it off with some whipped cream and berries.

Hi!

I needed to make a card like super FAST!!! And I'm low on cardstock...one of the things we lack here in Zagreb is some good cardstock in all the yummy colours available...all I can find is light pink, dark pink, light blue, dark blue... :(

Anyways..this is what I came up with...

I used my Roses stamp set and for the sentiment my Party Time stamp set.

Happy first of March!
