Can you say hand cramp and bloody fingers??!! Why....well I handstitched this card....yup! I drew the bird and did some paper piecing...added my handmade button to the wing.

I used one of my favourite stamps Hero Arts Clouds and Large Canvas......the sentiment is a SRM sticker from the We've Got Your Sticker Hello set. For more 'summery' projects pop on over to the SRM blog.

Froggy wands

Hi!

My daughter graduated from her preschool group (it's actually a mixed group...mostly 3 year olds due to lack of space)...only two kids graduated this year. I wanted Mia to hand out a treat to her group and because their goup is called Žabice (which means Froggies) my Garden Set came in handy! :)

The kids put on a wonderful show for us (parents, grandparents..) I CRIED like a  baby the whole time especially when her 'teta's' called the graduating parents up for a 'thank you diploma'...Mia was so blessed to have wonderful teta's that she will remember forever...

So these SRM Magic Wands were just PERFECT for this occasion...I filled them up with some Skittles. I heat embossed the frog with Hero Arts white embossing powder and the clouds background is also Hero Arts. I kept it very simple because we all know how 'gentle' 3 year olds are! :)

Mia was very excited to hand them out....and they were a hit! :)

Hi!

I had someone suggest that I should try out for Gallery Idol now that it's open to us international folks....I'm still not sure about it...I'm just too busy and while my drawing mojo is in full force my card making mojo put up the CLOSED sign!

I used my Garden Friends stamp set (you can find it here) and stamped these cuties on top of each other :) and I used a SRM sticker from the Sticker Sentiments Congratulations set. I used copics to colour them in...I didn't use copic friendly paper but it worked out fine.

 

A few days ago a very good friend of ours stopped by for a visit (hadn't seen each other for a while) and she got the kids some fun tops....this one is for Mia....do you think she liked it???

LOVE...ADORES it!!!

And our friend got me these LOVELIES!!!! She's so thoughtful and knows I love my girlie creams and stuff! :) The body scrub is HEAVEN!!!!! and the shimmery body lotion...sooooo PRETTY and soft...my daughter LOOOOOVES it too! These products are from the Italian brand L'Erbolario. I think I might do a body scrub giveaway....

I'll be back later this week with some SRM projects! :)

I just wanted to pop in and publicly say that I apologize for any miscommunication I had with my previous Digi DT...I went back and forth with the decision of having a Digi DT but in the end decided it was just too much (along with other reasons). Hello and Welcome!!!

I'm going to keep this short because to be honest.......

I'M FREAKIN OUT!!!! :)

I've said again and again how much I love my Noah's Ark image...it's just so cute...and I'm THRILLED to say that two of my cards using the Noah's Ark stamp will be published (Paper Crafts and Cards)!! AND I did not use Copics (for all you non-colouring people!!:)

This card looks so much better in real life....no matter how I photographed it the glitter looks like salt! In real life it looks so soft, shimmery and pretty...

And for copic lovers.....hello!!! This image is great for colouring! :)

Here's another card with Little Miss Mia...she's available at Claudia & Co. and I have a few at my Etsy shop for those of you who are closer to me (Croatia). She's really so easy to colour and paper piece..

I have about 50 of these blank note cards that have a emossed rectangle and thought they'd be perfect for CAS cards in a hurry...

I wasn't sure how my copics would work on this paper but they worked just fine.

I've been horrible at leaving comments on all the blogs I love to visit (and I do visit regularily) but I hope now you understand why....I'm trying to balence this new venture and being a full time mom...I am so grateful to Judith...more than she knows! :)

teacher's gift

Today is the last day of school and even though I bought Marko's teacher's gift a while ago....a very pretty scarft (you can see it here) I made this tag late last night in like 5 minutes!

I've said it before and I'll say it again I LOVE using brown paper bags for packaging gifts!! :)

I used SRM Quick Cards - Teacher

I didn't want to use the green border so I cut out the sentiment only. I also used some of Bazzill's flower embellishments...I just love their texture and you can fluff up the petal to give your project great dimension.

SRM Storage

Hi!

I LOVE the SRM Tubes and Magic Wands...not only are they great for gifts they are PERFECT for storage!!!

I like to have travel kits for my kids...just in case a little boredom kicks in here and there on the road. :)

The SRM Tube is perfect for storing these cute pencil crayons and the SRM Magic Wands are perfect for a sweet treat! I trimmed down the Magic Wand (don't want them all hyper on sugar) for their Skittles sweets (very easy to cut with scissors).

I found this plastic storage container at our grocery store for cheap (Interspar...for any Hrvati visiting my blog).

This would make a creative gift for any child...just dress it up and personalize it....I just might do that...and if I do I will of coarse share it! :)

I don't know about you but I think this makes a pretty good travel kit! :)
