Joyful Pears

I'm soooo excited to be doing a guest post over at  Two Peas for the 20 Days of Holiday Sharing!!!

So you were asked to make a non-layout project....this is so not a layout! ;)

My inspiration came from the Christmas song the 12 Days of Christmas...'and a partridge in a pear tree'!

I created these pears from polymer clay (fimo). I stamped them using Hero Arts Small Variety Alphabet stamp set. I used Tim Holtz distress inks and paint dabbers to 'paint' the letters.

How about to set your Christmas dinner table you have a glittery pear with your guests initials on it!! Wouldn't that be so pretty!

My husband even gave me the idea of making glittery pear Christmas tree ornaments!!!

Hi!

I made this card for my Glitter Princess Mia (my daughter) and realized it's perfect for Moxie Fab World's Glitter is Glam Challenge.

I made the candy cane out of polymer clay (fimo), glittered it up! I also added glitter to my chipboard letters and to one of the snowflakes.

I stamped the strips using PTI's Retro Background Basics and then dabbed over it using Brilliance Moonlight White ink.

Ok....so I made this little gingerbread man out of fimo.....I searched for a gingerbread man cookie cutter and can't find one...(Croatians really don't do the whole gingerbread house...man thing).....so here's a thought for my sanity and for my neck and back is there anyone out there willing to send me a gingerbread man cookie cutter (preferably 2 or 3 inches tall) in exchange for some of my handmade buttons and embellishments????? Email me if you're interested in this trade! ;)

It's a gloomy, wet snowy/rainy kinda day here....but when it comes to LOVE...the weather doesn't matter!

Here's my card for the Moxie Fab World The Love Challenge.

I LOVE this bird and worm....I was watching the National Geographic Wild channel and there was a commercial about a program showing odd frienships like a chimp and a dog!!! Reminded me of these two! This bird and worm are part of the Bird Watching digi set.

Well...I'm sure like most of you I'm soooo busy with the holidays so I will only be popping back here on the blog on the 14th and the 18th for some fun posts...hope to see you then!!

I officially started getting ready for Christmas...making tags for gifts...decorating...all the good stuff! As you can see by the sentiment I'm not the only one making stamps in Croatia!!! I found them here.

I also used Nina's Lovely Labels stamp...this is my favourite...probably because it's got polka dots!!!

I paper pieced my Babushka Doll (available here) using yummy Basic Grey's Meadow Pattern paper (I tend to hoard Basic Grey paper)...

For my sentiment I used one of SRM's stickers....LOVE them!

Hi!

I know I said I'm going to take a few days off...but I promise...I will now (I have the darn flu now!!).

Anyways....I wanted to play along Caardvarks Challenge sponsored by My Favorite Things - Gift Card/Money Holders.

We're having grey gloomy weather so it's really hard to see all the stamping I did on the Kraft paper (I used Hero Arts Ledger, Clouds and Holiday Dolls-the snowflakes)...I also stamped HA Clouds on the pale blue paper too.

Don't you just love the frost on the tree!!! ;)

And here's my little pocket perfect for a gift card or money!

Just popped in to share this fun project....I made some handmade embellishments....will be adding this to my Etsy shop later on.

I added some of my handmade buttons, roses and daisies...I made this daisy for our wedding invitations...I wish I knew about the whole make your own mold thing back then...would have saved me lots of time! ;)

I will be making lots of different colour combos and adding them to my Etsy shop asap.

I also wanted to share this cute tag I made....my kids went to a birthday party on Sunday (our neighbours 2 daughters had their birthday party...Lucija turned 5 and Matea turned 1).

This is Matea's tag....she's soooo CUTE...I call her bunny!! I bought her a big bag full of mega blocks!
