Hi!

Here's that tag I mentioned.......it was all last minute...our neighbour told us about the bday party for Lucija (who turned 4 and is my daughters best friend) friday night.....I just LOVE CC Designs stamps....so cute and fun to colour.

I punched out some snowflakes and covered them with glitter and added some stickles to the sweater. Coloured the stamp in with Copics.....I can't wait to get more....I can't really blend....only one brown, one pink and you can only do so much with one shade of brown.....

jungle fever

Hi!

I just wanted to share this card that Kelly made...........how CUTE is it!!!! just love it! Her colouring ROCKS!!! I know some people are a little hesitant to colour bigger spaces (like the hippo, lion..)...when I feel I can't pull it off with Copics then I turn to my coloured pencils....or I print out my images on pattern paper...

Recognize the button.....it's my handmade fimo button....how creative is that!!

I wasn't planning on doing any cards this weekend......I have lots of catching up to do..........LOTS of buttons to make but I did make a last minute tag.....my kids were invited to a birthday party tomorrow...I'll share that tomorrow........I used one of CC Designs stamps that I just ADORE!!! and I'm totally inspired to create my own character based on my daughter Mia and a cat (we have two.............she LOVES LOVES cats!!) so I plan on doing some major doodling!!

I've got some AWESOME news today!!! I have a team of TALENTED ladies who took pity on me and decided to help me out with my digi images!! Most of you know that I started illustrating for Squigglefly and I have to say there's just not enough time in the day to do all I want to do.......BUT with the help of my friends...I will be able to do what I LOVE to do........and that is to doodle!!! I don't know how to thank these ladies enough for their time and creativity!!

I want to thank all who have contacted me and want to say it was a very difficult decision.....one that involved tears, sweat, hair pulling and eventually eeny, meeny miny mo!! No seriously...I did only plan for 2-3 members but just couldn't keep it at that so after picking my top 3 I did eventually use the good ol' random org.!lol I just couldn't make up my mind!!

Please go and check out what these ladies have to say and show! (please keep in mind the time difference for some of the ladies)

Also I am planning a challenge that will involve my digi images and my handmade buttons...........but I'll leave the details for when the time comes! Squigglefly will now have weekly releases and I'm working on some new images and can't wait to share them with you.

rustic snowman

I drew this scene years ago........and pulled it out to create a digi image of it (now that I'm illustrating for Squigglefly).........but a much simpler version of it (without the wooden bird houses and all the details), so if you like this image it'll be available at Squigglefly on Dec. 5th!

I used some of those candy canes on this card....my daughter saw them on the kitchen counter (that's where I work with fimo...near the stove) and she popped one in her mouth...didn't take long to figure out it wasn't REAL candy!LOL

          

I coloured this with my Derwent pencils that I LOVE! And since the challenge at Caardvarks is all about COLOUR...

I also used some glossy accents and my GellyRoll glitter pen to add some interest.

                 

I'm going to try and finish my card for Lucy's challenge...........

As far as my design team.....and I feel ridiculous because who am I to have a design team but I am touched by the response....more than I expected that's for sure...I think it's more out of pity LOL but I'll take it! ;) I will make my final decision by Wednesday (which I think is the 25th) so if some of you just found out you still have some time to email me.........
And today is release day at Squigglefly........and boy do they have some BRILLIANT new releases!!!

candy canes and a design team

Hi!

While making red buttons I thought....candy canes......so I made some with fimo...these are my first try...still need to be sanded down and glossed up (one problem is the red fimo bleeds and tint the white...hhmmm)...but they're kinda cute...I have a few Christmas tag ideas for them....I'd be more than happy to share some fimo candy canes with someone so please leave a comment and I'll randomly choose someone......by tomorrow night I think...Christmas is just around the corner!!!

And speaking of tomorrow...Squigglefly's got loads of new digi images to be release...a few of them are mine!!! And here's my idea.........I just love seeing cards made with my images and because there are just not enough hours in the day I was thinking of .......and I really don't want to use this term....a 'design team'...(I don't know how else I'd say it).........but 2 or 3 people who would make a card or two or three with my images and email them to me (and post them on their blog)...... I will send you my images for free....and perhaps a few of my handmade buttons would find their way to your craft table!!!! Well....this is my thought anyways............if you are interested please email me (my email is at the top right).

Here's my card for this weeks CPS142 sketch using my giraffe digi image that I coloured in the other day with copics. The buttons on both cards are my handmade buttons.

 Yesterday I received my Cosmo Cricket Jolly By Golly packet that I won on the Moxie Fab World!!!... and wanted to try out Got Sketch?'s sketch 93.

I also received this generous package from Judy as a thank you for winning my handmade buttons! The fact that she likes them is thanks enough!! I was so touched.........and Judy isn't the only one who has shown such kindness.......there's Alice who sent me paper that is good for Copic colouring.....there's Rose, Pia, Stephanie and many more............I thank you all!!

Anyways..........I'll be popping in before Squigglefly's New Releases which is on November 21st with some cards using my new digi images that will be available then. Also to announce a challenge of my own......that has to do with my digi images and my handmade buttons........hope I'll have some interested players!!! Speaking of challenges........the talented Lucy is having one and I can't wait to have a go at it!

Hi!!

Here's a little sneak peek....remember this giraffe... he too will be available at Squigglefly on Nov. 21. Let's see....there's the lion, monkey, giraffe and a hippo (who will make her appearance any day now! ;))

I started this card but had to stop because it's just to MESSY here!!!! The basement is still not done and I've been working upstairs. I get panicky when it gets too messy!!! Bit of a clean freak unfortunately. BUT it seems that tomorrow I can clean up down there, dust off my stuff and put everything in its place!!! I can't wait!!!

I just love the little bee......I literally doodled it while I was on the phone and no...not because I'm super talented....it was a total fluke! If I tried to draw it again it wouldn't turn out....trust me...I tried!! lol

Hopefully I'll get this card done tomorrow.........Oh yeah....to the first 10 who bought my images (Old st.Nick and Mr. Snowman) at Squigglefly...I haven't forgotten about your buttons....I should be getting your email any day now and I'll contact you and get your address!

Hi!!!

Here's one of my new digi images that will be available at Squigglefly on Nov. 21! There's a lion and giraffe (that you might remember from before) I cut this cutie out and coloured him in with my Derwent pencils.....a little black Stickles on his nose.... 

I had the lovely Lucy in mind when I made this card for several reasons........she loves animals, she ROCKS Nest. Labels 1.....only thing missing is string.........I ran out of string!!!!

I rushed to make this card because I wanted to take a photo of it outside (I ended up taking this photo on my desk) but time was no on my side today......couldn't find my scissors (used my kids scissors.....might as well have used my teeth for the job)...my paper cutter is one step away from being set on fire!!!!!! and it's already dark at 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I'm going to take a better photo of this card tomorrow......

I made this card for the CPS Challenge (my first for CPS!) and for the Embellish Challenge but I'm too late for the Embellish Challenge (which was a colour and owl challenge)..........anyways......remember this owl....(it's my own template)......I traced it out on cardstock and did some stamping and distressing on it's body.

Here's my card for Squigglefly's Challenge which is a sketch challenge.

I used my Old St.Nick digi image (which can be purchased at Squigglefly) and printed it out on kraft and coloured him in with my Derwent pencils. Added a little Stickles........funny thing........it's only when I downloaded this photo etc. did I realized I forgot to colour in his belt buckle!!! I will used my glitter gel pen for that.

 This is my card for the October Card Chain Challenge that Deborah organized...so much fun!! Can't wait for the next one! I made this card for the talented Deirdre. I have to say this was harder then a regular challenge because the 'judge' is going to be able to get a good close look!!

This Card Pattern's sketch is just perfect for what I had in mind for the Hero Arts Challenge this week which was colour combos..........the unusual kind!!!

And here's my card! I coloured in the cute doll with my Derwent pencils.....a little glossy accents on the top of her hat. I created some pattern paper using my Hero Arts stamps.

It is one in the morning here and I just realized that this challenge ends today......luckily I live in Croatia so I still made it on time.........unfortunately the quality of the photo is not so good since the only light I had on was my desk lamp!!

Anyways, this is my first 2 Sketches 4 You Challenge!!! Here's the sketch......I found it difficult!

Do you all remember my first monster (the one I said looks like a chicken-lizard!!) well here's his friend....which is another one of my new digi images for Squigglefly (new releases Nov. 21). I coloured my monster with copics and added some glossy accents on the teeth and horns.........the teeth make me laugh!

Just look at Alice's own swirls that she added to his belly!!!!!!!!  And NO!!!.....I don't mind!!!! I'm working on some new images that will be released soon and I'm creating images that will allow me and you to play around with them.......paper piecing.......stamping on the image......copics..........I'll be showing you all what I mean soon! And this snowman (and my Old St. Nick) can be bought at Squigglefly for $1.25 each people!!!! And if someone is 'afraid' to try digi stamp....if I did it ANYONE can!!!

October Card Chain Challenge!

I received my card from Pia today.............isn't it just GORGEOUS!!! Lucky me!!! She also sent some pretties for me to play with!!

As for our basement......it's almost done....still don't have access to all my stuff but it's getting there!

I'm working on some of my new releases......the only part I struggle with is when I have to 'spiff' up my image on the computer........I'm sooooo not a computer person but I know I'll get the hang of it!

some more PLUM

Hi!!

Here I am again with my second post today.......I have this stamped image (of the shy girl) and how cute with the grapes in her hair..........I had to make another PLUM card!! I've gone PLUM CRAZY! This card is special (as is the tag) because all the materials (except for the sentiments which are Hero Arts) I received from blog friends (as results of giveaways and awesome sales!!).

So I used my Copics (what's better Ciao or Sketch....did I get those names right??? don't feel like getting up to check! ;P) to colour in the shy girl and used some yummy Basic Grey pp!! I really go to extremes........either I hoard EVERYTHING like a hamster or I'm trying to glue EVERYTHING I have onto one card!!!

Here's a cute rustic tag I made with my jolly St. Nick! The buttons are my handmade fimo buttons. I printed this santa out on deep red and cream cardstock and did a little paper piecing action.

The great thing about digi images is that you can play around with them.....make them different sizes for one........which is what I did with my snowman........perfect for tags or making your own embellishments. I used Making Memories Tag Maker on one of them.
