Moxie Fab Challenge

Hi!!

Here's a card I created for Moxie Fab World's The Jolly Holiday Greetings Challenge.

I received this stamp (with a few other Hero Arts stamps) from a fellow blogger who so inspires me...just out of the blue....a RAK!! I have received everything from yummy Oreo's to a box of Fimo (because apparently I'm the button lady) to SRM stickers....It's an AWESOME feeling to have someone do something special for you for no particular reason...

Anyways...before I get all mushy...I just LOVE this Hero Arts Santa!! I also used Hero Arts Ledger stamp and I  repeatedly stamped the Hero Arts sentiment JOY from this set using clear embossing powder. I stamped the polka dots onto pink cardstock using my very own Jane's Bakery stamp set which I will be adding to my Etsy shop soon. I also added some faux stitching using Sassafras's adorable Stichery stamp set.

There are some great challenges going on at Moxie Fab World....major inspiration from fellow bloggers! And the celebrations for World Card Making Day has started at Moxie Fab World too!! This time I'm celebrating!! ;)

Anyways...I'm going to try and not let this RAIN (that just won't stop!!) ruin my Monday...I'm doing major organizing at home and lots of other projects that I will share soon.

Super quick post...I'm soooo busy with just EVERYTHING!! And on top of that we have construction going on inside the house and outside house!!

Here's a card I made...I think I got my season's mixed up...I'm all into the pastels!! ;)

Do you see the yellow satin ribbon...I used that ribbon on the wedding I did a few months ago and I bought rolls and rolls of that ribbon.....Lots left over... so I'm going to add it to my Etsy shop for a really good price so if you like keep an eye out for it. ;)

Esty Shop Update

Hi!

I've got the Sunday blues!! The weekend just shot by!! Anyways, as for my buttons...I think I'm going to try something new. I will add new handmade buttons to my Etsy Shop every Monday. I have lots of people emailing me saying that they visit my shop and there's never buttons to be found! ;) Here are a few I will be adding tomorrow....

And I just had some orange fimo lying around begging me to make a pumpkin place setter out of it!!! ;)

I cut a slit on the top of the stem to slip the name card in. I used Basic Grey pp and Hero Arts alphabet stamp set...

Years back I made a BUNCH of these for a friends wedding that was in October only I tied the name tags on to the stems and they were nicely placed on everyone's napkin.

I'm wondering if I should add a few of these to my Etsy shop....they're pretty heavy so I'm not sure how much the shipping costs would be...darn shipping costs! ;)

vacation pics

So I finally get to share some pictures from our summer vacation. I'm going to have to do it a few posts because there's a lot of pics. I must say that I forgot my camera so all these pictures were taken with my husbands cell phone.

First up is the City Nin. Very special to me because it's where my mom is from...the city where I got married...and a little history...it's considered to be the oldest city in Croatia where the first King of Croatia was crowned....in total 7 Croatian rulers were crowned there (oh my...I hope I got my history right!).

You can find gorgeous ruins everywhere!!!

This I'm proud to say is my cousin Božidar's restaurant thank you very much!!!!

It's called Restaurant Branimir.

His restaurant is right next to my FAV church....like right next to it...look for yourself...I got these photo from this site.

Ok...now my FAVOURITE church on the planet!!!

I just LOVE LOVE this tiny masterpiece!! I got married in another church next to this one.

I can just stare at it forever!! While I was taking pictures there were about 4-5 people inside singing church songs and it just gave me the goose bumps...just BEAUTIFUL!

And this is Grgur Ninski (Gregory of Nin) who was a bishop in the 10th century and introduced the Croatian language in the religious services (which where up until then held in Latin).

People come and rub his big toe for a little luck! ;) Every time I visit I can't walk by without rubbage!! ;)

School officially started and I'm already BUSHED!!! ;)

A new colour...I don't think I ever used this shade...it's called violet...very pretty!

Just sharing a card quickly!

I'm busy getting ready for school...need to buy shoes for the kids... and the list goes on!! ;) Also not only do I have construction going on in my kitchen but also on the outside of my house...will share pics with you soon.
