babuška

Hi!
Just the other day I was talking to my friend and mentioned how I wish I had my Babuška (Babushka) doll that my dad bought me when I was little.....and then I go to the mall and spot this here pretty lady....

Perfect for my daughter's room...only I'll hold on to it for a while longer. Don't think she'll be too gentle with it so for now it's in my bathroom up high on a shelf....nice and safe! ;)

And speaking of Babuška's....I remember when I had my digi Babuška's stamp release for Squigglefly I received a few comments correcting my terminology...I know they are called MATRYOSHKA DOLLS but like I said....some of us Croats call them Babuška dolls...and here's my proof...

Anyways....I'm busy with home renovations and drawing (some more releases coming soon)....so why not give away one of my digi stamp Babuška dolls....Olga.

If you're interested just leave me a comment and I'll randomly choose a winner on Sunday.
Have a great day!!

P.S. Don't forget about my Mr. Smiles giveaway!!

I know them as Babushka dolls, too! Is that the name for "kerchief"? Hm..maybe not! I love Olga! Don't count me for the draw--I have that adorable digi!

What a great find! I know these as 'Russian Dolls'... for some reason! Don't count me in for the digi as I was a lucky winner when you originally launched them! Jo x

You know, here in Slovenia we also call them Babuška and I love this name as much as I love them. Your digi one is marvelous!

My mom has one (I also called it a Babushka - correct or not) and I love it! It's one that has all of the graduated sizes inside one another. Love the digi and love the one you got for your daughter too! :)
